yea im pretty sure we'd quickly build up a tolerance for anything disagreeable in the bacteria coming out of our turdcutters.
who knows though? maybe hepatitis is a part of natural selection. also, if youre squatting in the woods, the stance is such that not much wiping is necessary. but, since we have skin and not fur, wiping is necessary to be able to walk comfortably and avoid chafing. except for hirsute people like me, who are furry anyway.

I know that in Iraq they literally use their own hands to as toilet paper. That is why its a big act of disrespect to shake someone's hand there. I think we do it because of the smell that would stick to you after using the restroom.
