We all know the sweet mj plant is an amazing plant and has several defenses to keep it alive to bare seeds. If for some reason earth's climate were to change to heat above normal living level, even up to hundreds of degrees the seeds would possibly survive another generation (many seeds have this same mechanism for heat).
Another defense...possibly
I was pretty baked and thought if thc within the trichrome was meant to be smoked all along. By this I mean what if marijuana is so evolved it could develop a defense mechanism to instead of "repelling" its main defense is to get things/beings/humans whatever addicted to it so it would be farmed and kept alive. Wouldn't that be an amazing defense to keep it alive?
Sure there are flaws to this theory. By means of evolution taking thousands of years to change. Obviosly the change would have had to happen during the existance of humans or cavemen. Unless marijuanas ultimate defense is to predict the future and evolve it self ahead of time or possibly faster.
Just a thought...
I guess someone has beat me to this idea.
