TT's theory of end of "space"

Lets say that earth is in the middle of space, and were looking at space like a picture infront of us. We have 2 gigantic black holes to the left and right, or even 4 black holes from left, right, up and down. Everything is being slowly sucked in, now one would think we would be instantly sucked in. But what if these black holes were so far apart that its only pulling slowly. Since we have gravity galaxies will be pulled altogether into a black hole.

Crazy in'nit?

I haven't smoked in a week I'm on a t-break. What evidence do you have that shows this couldn't be possible?

Well we don't have enough knowledge about black wholes to presume anything wild as such :P

That doesn't make any sense at all..you have smoked yourself retarded. Jk =P but seriously that doesn't make any sense. We know enough about the universe to know that it doesn't work like that. Not to say it isn't possible...anything is possible. Some things are just very unlikely.

It sure is.

But not possible. We know the universe is essentially "flat" that is the distribution of matter is fairly even no matter where you go. If there was, theoretically, black holes on the "edges" (many cosmologist will tell you space-time probably has no defined boundary or edge) of the universe the matter density would be much greater the further you got from earth in any direction due to the enormous pull of gravity that would be generated by black holes such as you describe.

I don't exactly understand your theory. Are you just saying galaxies would be pulled into black holes? In fact, at the center of every galaxy is a big black hole (as opposed to smaller ones that are interspersed throughout galaxies). But black holes don't really "suck up" matter or anything. They're just objects with gravity so forceful that light can't escape. That doesn't mean it pulls everything around it into it though. If objects are far enough away from a blackhole, they just orbit the blackhole - just like the moon orbits the earth. If the moon got a little bit closer to the earth, it would sucumb to its gravity and crash into it. Blackhoels are only different in that even light can't escape it's gravity. I hope someone somewhere found this a little bit educational. For more understanding on Black holes, watch the TV show The Universe on the History Channel (or download it! ). Key eps are the Big Bang episode, Birth and Death of a Star, and The Most Dangerous Places in the Universe.

What if each black hole leads to/is a galaxy or something like that and we're just on the inside/on the other side of one?

Not exactly. The moon is slowly moving away from the earth, so it have been closer to us than it is now. But apart from that little niggle, you're quite right

The effect of gravity between two objects is a function of mass + distance + velocity.

impossible.

The most common missconception about black holes:

Black holes are not the "thing which sucks up everything in its path with unstopable gravity.

A black holes gravity is only a little less powerfull then the star it was made from.

So your entire theory is false

Imagine a giant ball of antimatter in the material universe creates a giant bubble of matter in the antimaterial universe. Kind of like Yin-Yang.

Also impossible.

The universe will end like this:

Because the universe is a constantly expanding force, it will eventually cross the line where its so large that the gravity containing it cannot sustain itself. Then, the entire universe will instantly come apart, where slowly slowly, black holes will suck everything up (i.e. join together into one massive part) into all the universes matter is compressed to something smaller then an atom. Then, the gravity will expand faster then the "ball" causing a massive explosion of all the matter kept inside this "ball" outward, thus starting the cycle again. And yes, the universe and all laws as we know it is just an endless cycle. Study physics sometime
