GOD WINS AGAIN
sorry to say that this well spoken man has unfortunately wasted a lot of his own time, because it's not gonna get heard or processed by anyone who isn't already rational.

Except, for some it won't feel like proof.
It will feel like increasing fear.

I'm not out to prove God to anybody. He has proven Himself to me, and that's all that matters. I live my life according to "live and let live." If a person truly wants to know God, they will know Him. It's as simple as that.

Believers should realize that they arent burdened to prove anything to anyone. Its their own belief. I dont feel like i'm burdened to prove anything to atheists. I respect their belief and the decent atheists can respect mine.
What about us believers that don't give a damn what everybody thinks?

Then, I guess, the gentleman in the video isn't talking about you guys...
You two might be nice people, but it doesn't change the fact that some of us might have to encounter very eccentric fundamentalists out there who make it their business to tell the rest of us, atheist or not, to turn to god in order to live a prosperous life. For legal and recreational reasons.

Luckily, as a Jew, I am under no obligation to try to spread my religion. My only obligation is to ensure that my selfish desires are tempered by my selfless actions.

Yes, I am no fan of fundamentalists myself.

I think its kinda funny how In Judaism, to God,
Its better to be a good non Jew, than a bad Jew.
Its like becoming Jewish "shows you the truth" and once you llearn it, you can't claim ignorance as defense

God hasn't actually proven himself to you. You just interpreted an event in your life as divine.
Google proof if your interested in what proof actually means

hahahah how do you know??
You don't even know the event that was which happened to him, let alone anything personal about him.
How can you judge someones personal subjective experience if you have absolutely no clue what it was?
It's people like you that would deny God if he even stuck his foot up your ass. There could be miracles going on all around you and you'd still be completely clueless to them. All because you have such a strong opposition to the possibility of God's existence.
How in the world would an atheist ever find God if he was never even looking for him in the first place?

Is this meant to prove that god doesn't exist? I don't see your point.
If this god is as powerful as you say, one should not need to have to imagine it into existence like that. If this god is as powerful as you say, you have no idea what its motives are since it could keep you totally ignorant of them. If this god is as powerful as you say, you can't know even that it is as powerful as you say. The only way to be "certain" of these things is to imagine them and then convince yourself about the veracity of your imagining.
No one who says "god showed himself to me" can separate that statement from "i showed myself something" with certainty. To say that you can betrays either a delusion or a lie. Your mind is a powerful thing, and it's capable of lying to itself so convincingly that you think it's telling you the truth.

Because in other threads you have claimed god exists by saying he/she/it has made itself evident to all men. Which you have yet to prove.

Maybe so, but always to make the point that video is making.

That video showed the flaw in YOUR logic.

If you've ever heard of solipsism you'd understand it is scientifically impossible to prove anything is conscious other than yourself.
How would you ever be able to prove that there's a force which is conscious and intelligent if you can't even prove the person you're speaking to face to face is actually conscious themselves?

It's people that come up to you, and tell you about a man who died and then came back to life, who walked on water and turned water to wine and all this other shit. Proof? Oh, look at this book it's written right here on page 1173.
All of this is made possible by the king of the paradise realm that no one can see, an eternal omnipotent being of limited power but unlimited scope, a being for whom we ought to be less than gnats but who totally cares about and loves us and made everything in the universe for us, who is just as fuck but kills people on a whim and causes them unlimited suffering as punishment for limited transgression. It says so right there on page 866.
The book is there because of this ball of contradictions known as God. Seriously. God did that. It says so right there on page 375. You have to squint to read it right, and then study each letter for seventeen years and read 72 books about the phrasing, but once you've done this proper and modest amount of study, it's totally obvious!
That's what we're dealing with. And all that is desired from any such people is any kind of proof of any of the tales they are telling, yet they act as if that's an affront to their fairytale existence. The opposite is actually true.
