Purple Thrax?
Alright, so I called my old dealer, no one else was picking up. Now, this guy has been known for some arguably sketchy shit (He got shot in the arm over some crack in his senior year, then ended up strangling the guy who did it to him) so I can't say he's earned my trust. He says he's got 'Purple Thrax,' but then again most ghetto dealers in my area who say they've got some kind of purp are bullshitting to some degree.
But my main question is this. What is Purple Thrax like? I've never even heard of it. And, he's selling for $25 a gram, is that a reasonable price for this strain? Thanks, I rarely buy dank, so my knowledge of it is limited.

Sounds to me like someone wants to make a quick buck.
Ive never heard of this strain, but $25 a g is OUTRAGEOUS. I wouldnt get it unless I saw it and it was just unbelievably dank.

I honestly don't know. I did a google search but the only thing I could find were mentions of it in song lyrics. I didn't go search any seed banks or anything.
My opinion, I'd would ask him what else he had at his disposal. Maybe a strain that you possibly have heard of, White Widow, Northern Lights, SAGE, Sour Diesel... I will tell you my favorite so far is SAGE. I like the others I've listed a great deal too, but SAGE is the top for flavor, aroma and high... And if you can keep it under $20 a gram. IMO $20 is pretty expensive but prices can vary from state to state. I pay around $14 a gram for kind bud = $100 for 1/4 of an ounce.

And assuming it's real - it's being compared to White Rhino, which I hear is mind-blowingly dank. On the other hand, it IS Gucci Mane.. one of the worst rappers of today. So for me it's still sort of a mystery, even though I'm still inclined to say my dealer is fucking with me.

SS, is right. You can scroll through GrassCity's photo gallery to find pictures of what various grades of weed look like. It's always good to educate yourself. The worst that can happen is that you expose this douche for what he is...

Some might be sativa some indica. Like the half O i bought create a heavy indica euphoric high with a noticable sativa trippy effects in there. So to sum it all up...Thrax is like a grade higher then mids..that's what us black folks call "Headies".

hey i know this is an old ass thread but i felt compelled. so last night i posted in another thread how i was smokin with cousin...i think i did at least?? well when we was smokin i asked him what kinna bud it was and he said "this shit right here is that purple thrax" he said its 30 a g (sounds like a rip off, but its hood prices, and my cousin traps, so its nothin to him to pay that much). when we smoked the blunt there was NO blunt taste at all, just the bud. i have a few pics of it too ill post them in a lil bit, right now im too lazy for it. btw it was THE BEST lookin bud ive EVER seen. the pics dont reflect what it actually looked like cuz the lighing was bad in the room, but its the best ive seen in person and IMHO online. the bud was like whiteish green with crystals ALL over the bud, purple spots and orange hairs. it smelt kinna fruity. it was AMAZING looking
