difference between glass and acrylic pipes?

hey,

i was planning on getting a water pipe...

are there different effects if you smoke with a glass pipe opposed to an acrylic pipe? which one is better?

i was thinking of getting an acrylic pipe because they are more sturdy, and do not break if you drop them.

i havent bought anything personally, but i would put my next half o on the other peoples around heres testimonies that ive heard... they say g city is great..

multi chambered is GREAT!! i made one, put all ice in the first chamber, and ice water in the second..i could take full lung capacity hits, and only feel it when i breathed out, its like my lungs were being sucked out!!! IT WAS GREAT THO, because everytime exactly following that was a great fight with me and couch lock..

i lost with 3 to go in the first round

how are the bamboo ones? i want a really durable water pipe because i travel a lot, and i dont want it to break when i am traveling.

for durability it seems like

bamboo > acrylic > glass...

but the main difference between the three materials is how clean the hit is?

and..

mutli chamber > ALL?

i dont know anything about bamboo..i would love to tho..

the only thing is, i looove to see the smoke traveling through the bong, its great to see it rocket into your lungs, so thatd be the only raa i would have about bamboo..umm..

they all get you the same high, just with a different taste..or maybe essence would be a better word, i dunno..

yeah, i agree with bamboo not being clear sucks.. i love seeing all the smoke traveling up the bong after you milked it like crazy...

so now i am looking for a clear water bong with multi chambers, that is durable.. any recommendations?

it seems like grasscity.com doesnt have many multi chambered bongs.. any other sites that carry them?

Glass all the way you just get a cleaner smoke. IMO roors are the smoothest pieces around... Its a rip, but worthwhile in my opinoin.

Glass vs acrylic? You should consider these things:

- Glass breaks more easily. And small pieces of glass in a pool of bong water on your livingroom floor is not a happy situation

- However, if you manage not to break it, the glass bong will usually last longer. Acrylic bongs tend to get small cracks after a while, and when the bong no longer is air tight, obviously it won't work well

- Remember bongs that look great in the shop might not look that great after a couple of hits. I genereally prefer bongs that are coloured and not as easy to see through, because the stain that builds up inside is not really something you wanna look at

I would reccomend gettin two if you can afford it.

Buy a nice expensive glass bong for your own personal use. And buy a cheap but nice acryllic bong for when u have friends smokin with you. This way no dumbass will ever be holding it and all of a sudden he drops it or knocks it over or kicks it causing it to break.
