haha thats the first smart thing i've heard in this thread so far, sounds like you had a nice idea, but it seems like to much work for the same affect as an ice bong.

I was thinking.... what if you got the water to cold and the extremely cold smoke hurt just as bad as really hot smoke hurts. just a thought.. that maybe there is a limit to how cold you want the smoke. Sweet idea though man...

well i like your design, but i think its too small, ive been thonking on how to make a 5 gal water bottle hookah/bong with dry ice in it for a long time. ill try and get a diagram up asap, but it wud be like live4ever's but just a large size, more water to a little more DI. im thinking that if theres more water surrounding the DI it will make the smoke way cool, without making it too cold.

old thread but from personal experience a few things are true

dryice tends to super freeze the are directly around it in such a way that thc wouldn't have a chance neither would most freebases

bloody noses suck you'll get one for sure inhaling it deep as unreacted ice tends to make it pretty far down the bubblin' waterfilter line lol

it also tends to cool glass to the point of crackin or fracturing faster then ice

if ya wanna give this a shot and your local cart icecream guy actually sells you some put it in a ziplock bag

pop some coin sized holes in the bags top get a bucket fulla water iced or not and plop these bags in holes above the water

stick bong in go nuts
