Thats a really good idea, but since its in a seperate chamber, I doubt the effects would be very noticable once it went through room temperature water in teh second chamber, maybe look into using regular ice in the second chamber with no water, since it has already been filtered through the cold water on the other side.

It also seems like a lot of work just to use dry ice in a bong. Also dry ice isnt that cheap, Id say its not really worth your while. but if you do go for it, let us know if there are any noticable differences.

Call me amish but that seems like a lot of time, money and work just to get high. Pass me the acrylic bong with a few cubes in it and Ill be lovely. By the time you are done building that thing (not to mention getting dry ice, which I believe can be somewhat difficult) Ill have gotten stoned 20 times.

*edit* for anyone out there who's good at chemistry, another problem I found is that when you mix dry ice with water, it's an exothermic reaction which means that the dry ice will still be cold but it will be giving off heat into the water... a solution would be to not add water inside the copper tube with dry ice, and i think the copper tube core would still get pretty damn cold even without the water and only dry ice, but i'm not quite sure

some one posted that dry ice is like -170 dedreese the salt water will freeze if you put that in it there

the freezing point is -21.1 degrees Celsius. This is when the saltwater is 23.3% salt (by weight).

You can put dry ice into water without it freezing at all. It causes the water to get so cold, so fast that the water will like start to bubble up, the movement of the and the rapid drop in pressure will keep the water from freezing, so freezing the water isnt a concern.

this is cool that u thought of it but i c some problems

in order for u not to go unconscious from inhaling co2 id say put some dry ice where u said it goes but put a lid on it so dont breath it in
+ it will stay colder cause its not escaping

3To1ker1- dry ice is very condense, it expands to something like 800 times its size as it melts into gas form. If you try to seal a container with dry ice inside, and it is air tight, it will explode.
