Okay here's the situation. Currently I'm on a tolerance break and am saving up a bit of money for a bong to kick off the holidays.

A friend of a friend has offered me to sell me his for like...$180. It's heavily used, no specific brand or anything, but it looks absulutely amazing. Without a doubt the best bong I've seen in my life IMO, and I've been looking around online and everything for something to top it but no luck. This thing is a beast!

Anyway, I really only want one bong for a very long time, as I hate putting money towards a smoking device when it can go towards weed.

I'm looking for the best bong I can get for about $200 or less. So is there any advantages to buying a new bong over an used one, other than like cleanness? Whats all this talk about RooRs that makes them so good? Personally I like the look of this used one a lot more than a RooR, but do people like them for look alone or is there something else that makes them so much better? And what do people reccomend, go with the bong I like the look of or get a new one?

well, take some rubbing alcohol (like 1/8 of a bottle) and like a cup of salt and shake it around in the bong and in no time she will be as clean as new.... then, go to the local pharmacy and get those fizzing tabs that clean dentures (Polydent is the brand i use) and drop a couple of those into the bong thats FULL of (clean) warm water.... minty fresh...

If I were you, i'd go for a new one. My friend had the best bong I have ever seen, then I waited a month and I saw the one I own right now. Its the best peice in the world. Go with the new, you wont regret it.

ya id just take your time and find the one thats right for you! and if you cant find a good one for new get the used one! I have a used bong and i love it because i got it at a fifth of the price it costs new

Edit - And yeah Demon, tis a good idea. It's gonna take a few weeks till I have the money together anyway so I'll have plenty of time to browse.
