Wow my tounge hurts

Uh oh.

Before when I blazed in my room, I'd take small hits so no smoke would escape and not a lot of smell would stink my room up, but lately I've been braver and taking bigger hits. I noticed the increase of smoke has been burning my tounge a bit, but it hasn't been a big deal.

That was, untill eating has started to become a problem. The only foods I can eat without and pain are mushy foods, but anything else hurts. Spicy foods are hell, and burn way more than they should, I can't even munch out on BBQ chips anymore (an old favorite) because it burns my tounge so bad.

What are the chances this is from the smoke? It could be that there's something wrong with my tounge, which made me notice the burn from the smoke, or it could be the burn from the smoke making my tounge messed, but I'm really not sure.

Does anyone know what the problem could be? This is shittay.

You're not going to know if its a result of the smoke unless you take a smoking break. Yes, smoking can cause tongue irritation, but so can many other things. I say,take a break for a couple weeks, and if in that time it persists or worsens, see a doctor, and don't be afraid to tell the doc you burn, its something he needs to know, but if u dnt wanna say u toke, at least say its cigs, but that you havent smoke any for a couple weeks.

i was asking cause if its through something really short like a mini lil pipe thing.. the smoke/air doesnt have alot of time to cool so just the heat of that could burn your tongue.. or in some cases your throat..

throat burn is bitch. my friend ryans pipe is a metal one about 1.5 - 2" long (stealth) the smoke when it comes in your mouth is so fucking hot, but we made something up for it.

we went to a hardware store and got a brass nipple (basically a brass rod) the same size as the mouthpiece of his pipe. we just unscrew the mouthpiece part and screw this other thing on nad it works like a charm.

What I smoke out of most often (when I'm blazing alone) is a dirt ass water bottle pipe (no not a bong, a pipe), and yes the smoke is still very hot when it reaches my mouth/throat to the point where it's rather painful to toke, but I'm tank and just do it anyhow. I've been smoking out of a water bottle pipe cause I was bored of my water bottle bong, but will making another bong hopefully solve my problem?

By the way the reason I don't have a nice bong or anything is b/c whenever I have like $160 to get one I always just end up buying an O insted lol. I'd rather have enough weed to last a while, than to smoke in style.

Oh well.

tyrone: try a homemade bong for a few days. look on waytoomany.com for a video tutorial. just stick a shitload of ice and the hits will feel much smoother, but if your tongue still burns i say go to the doctor. he cant tell other people you smoke mj cause it's the law
