Is it a actual strain, or is it just any haze strain w/ purple tint, or do people call anything purple purple haze? Sorry if this is dumb, ha.

Its an actual strain, but i know a lot of people are just like "well, it has purple in it, so ima call it purple haze!" but my dealer has the real thing and you can tell.. personally i think it smells sweeter than regular weed that just happened to turn purple... too wierd to describe, but i can tell

When buying the purple around here I've never come across "Purple Haze". Here are a couple of the purple strains I have bought tho: Grandaddy Purple, Queen's Purple (or something like that), and Candy Purple. Any other purps I've gotten they didn't know the name.

I've heard rumors that now Purple Haze only exists in clone form but I don't know that much about growing, could be bs.

People are dumb, its just a PLAIN HAZE plant with a PURPLE phenotype, yes anyone with purple buds will claim its purple haze, purple haze IS NOT speacial and was only popular cause it had "bag appeal" back in the 70's and shit.

It only exists in clones, which means someone has a female tree of it out there cuts clones and sells them, in which others can grow and cut more clones off of or harvest(not smart, keeping your own mother is much cheaper)....

once, a while back, this dealer I know approached me and asked "hey man, you ever heard of purple haze" and I was like, of course I've heard of purple haze, and he's like "yah, like the song, well I'm good with it now" and I was like, mmmhmm, thats probably bs, but then I bought it for the same price as usual, and it was dank as hell, so w/e. Lotsa people try to use strain names to hype regular product.

Yeah i have heard that is extinct but in all actually it is all up to the genes and phenotypes....damn chemistry. But the actual thing that makes the weed turn purple is the "enzymes" and what not in the weed. But in order to get the nice purple color the the strain needs to be below like 68 degrees in the last few weeks of flowering and if all other environmental factors are correct then boomp purple weed.

the shit brains in florida will grow some regs and lace it with heroin, and call it purple haze, its bullshit for that fact theyre trying to sell it as purp but lemme tell you, from first hand experience[knowing it was laced with heroin cause i watched it being done] it does the mo'fudgin trick. Pure Euphora for about 15 minutes and then it goes str8 to a regular high. very nice.

i got some from the med center. it was dank as fuck.

purple haze did exsist. but many years before most people on here where probably alive. the plant became extinct in the late 70's. anyone who tells you that is what you are getting is FULL OF SHIT. sorry kids
