tomorrow i'm gonna roll my first joint

i have a bong that i use but tomorrow my gf and i want to go to the zoo while high so i guess we'll have to smoke in the parking lot and it'd be best to use a joint
i just have a few questions, where can i get rolling papers?
how do i perpare the weed to roll it?
and how do i make a roach?
usually when i smoke out of my bong i just stick a peice of the nug in the bowl
so i was wondering if i had to grind it for a joint or not

remember i'm a newb at joints so any advice would be nice

You can get papers practicly anywhere, gas stations are your best bet though. As far as grinding goes, you can just break the herb up with your hands, you want it broken up pretty fine and the the pieces should be relativly the same size so its a nice smooth J. The roach, the roach is whats left of the J when its very short and hard to smoke, usually its easier just to save it and smoke it later, but other people use something as a roach clip, pretty much something you use instead of your fingers so you dont burn the fuck out of them.

i thought the roach was like a peice of paper or something that you stick in the j so you dont suck in weed

It is, it means both. Just take a strip off the paper pack a cm wide and like 3 or 4 cm long and roll it into a spiral and put that at the end of the J.

hey man, i suggest using coffee grounds or something and rolling about ten joints until you actually use weed.

unless you have major dexterity, youre first joint will be dissappointing. try the tons of guides on here, Search and i know there's a great thread, im too hungover to fiddle with the search button.

i hope you roll a good joint, if you dont wanna get caught:

watch the resin on the joint, dont get it on your lips.

fresh breath sprays (inhaled just a little bit) does wonders for smell.

cologne doesnt hurt either, but all that shit kinda weighs down your pockets, since i dont think backpacks are allowed in zoos.

animals (even in a disgustingly fake environment) would be a kinda cool expereience while high. or you might look down on the way theyre treated.

freehand is what worked best for me as a newbie

you basically break the bud down fine and yank off any trimleaf/tiny stem buds to create filler around the bigger bits

the roach is just a roll of some sort (a tiny bit of cotton would be fine if its a big j) added to the end before the final lick 'n roll

fold the paper 50/50 on the ungummed side in relation to the crease already in it

dribble in the larger bud bits then the smaller scraps

now roll it inward taught in your hands till no green shows and press lightly to shape it into a tube of herb

now pinch the sides and roll inward again till your near the gum lick it put it on your leg or something flat check its tight even shape one last time and roll forward on your leg in one motion till the gum sticks

glass pipe or metal pipe? if its glass no, if its metal should alrady have came with a screen if not dont waste money buying one take a screen out from ur sink faucet and wash it off and ur good to go
