I am a firm believer in the white lighter theory. But that aside, how many of you have heard, know of, or believe in three on a match?

For those of you who don't know the theory or rationale behind the story comes from WWII in a time when all of our boys in green smoked cigs. If one guy lit a cig at NIGHT with a match and passed the match to the guy sitting next to him to light his cig the second guy never passed the match to a third guy. The reason being that snipers could see the flash of a match and zero in on it, After two cigs lit on one match the sniper could aim up for a third person and hit them in the head with the shot. It continues on in military history and for the guys now who smoke in the military, I suppose they follow their fathers ways.

me too. It's kind of run-on-ish, and it really doesn't flow very well at all. Fix it, cause that had me curious. I understood that the people in WWII passed a match, but what didn't make sense is why. I got the thing with the sniper, but why would they stop after they pass it to the second person?

Just spark up a fat ass blunt. Puff, puff, pass. That's why I love blunts. Once you roll it up and light it you can sit back and relax (15-20 minutes if I roll dat bit)

i really dont get it either, is it like we have to pass the match the fastest so we dont get killed? im confused.

Why don't they all just turn and face a direction their know the snipers can't be? Ignorant militia men.

I understood every word...the bong got my mind flowin.

Hes saying that the sniper wont have time to zero in on the flame in the time it takes the first guy to pass the match. The sniper would have time to aim if the 2nd guy passed to the 3rd.

Do you mean you only do this for matches, or lighters as well?

HOVA! the whole point of a sniper is that nobody can see him so you can't just turn away if you don't know where the hell he is. -Protocol

i have never heard of this, but maybe its with the match because the match stays lit and thats what the sniper zeroes in on?
