HOLY FUCK!!! Is this mould on this weedd or what?!?!? I fucking HOPE not, its been sitting AIR TIGHT for 3 weeks now never been opened and now the buds on the buttom are covered in this... it doesn't smell ANY diffent than before, dont smell like mould? WHAT COULD IT BE? THIS IS 200$ WORTH OF POT! The white stuff is like spider webby

It sure looks like mold. The only time I've ever had mold on my nugs is from leaving an orange peel in the bag for too long. 3 weeks is a pretty long time to let the ganj sit there and maybe something got into the container when before you shut it. I just picked the mold off and smoked it. Kinda gross but still got my blazed and didnt give me any lung infections or anything. I figure the fire kills and bad crap on the bud.

how long had you left the orange peel in before it started to mold? i always keep an orange peel in mine and have never had mold...

GB put it very well. You can smoke what doesn't have mold on it, just be extremely cautious, make sure all affected areas are trashed and put that bud in a different bag. I'd leave the bag open too. I have never had to treat moldy bud, so I can't tell you how long to leave the bag open for, but I'd try to open the bag every day after it is dried out. Its a shame you can't just throw that shit in the freezer to store it.

Since he would be burning it cant he just like scrap the mold off and smoke the bud. Anything dangerous would be killed by the fire I would think

i think i left the peel in for like a week and the peel like enveloped one of the big buds like a coccoon. mmmm.....mold coccoon

You don't want to ingest any of the spores that may fly off into the air or don't actually get burned right away. Err on the side of safety always. I would not scrape it off. I do know people who have just scraped it off and smoked it, but I believe token's monitary situation would allow him to throw away the molded portions without true loss. It's just much more safe to take precaution.

token I didn't mention this before but the bud is dank so you have to open the container daily/every other day unless you dry it out before storage. Moist bud can create mold in a tupperware container or ziplock bag. I have yet to have a problem with glass, BUT I open my jar(s) every single day.

uh oh....definitely mold there...srry to hear about this TOKEN but your problem may be just what you stated. The buds could have had to much hidden moisture from not being cured well that when you closed the air tight jar for 3 weeks without opening all that moisture built up causing the perfect environment for mold to become acceptable. from now on if i were you i would open my jar at least once a day to allow fresh air in! hope this helps btw...srry to hear about your loss those were some pretty buds
