To all the blades living in or around San Francisco, I gotta ask you for any adivce on relocating out there. I've got a few years left here before i finish college but then i plan on heading out west and i fell in love with san francisco last summer.

I know the job market's shitty and cost of living is higher but just any all-around advice would be greatly appreciated.

Also if you happen to know of any smaller towns right outside of san francisco that share somewhat of the same atmosphere that'd be great. I've heard of Berkley hows that?

I live in Cen Cal but I'm up in the bay area alot and love to hit up the c-clubs. My two favorite strains are ramulen and blue moonshine. I have family in castro valley, and a very good friend in vallejo.

Santa Rosa here.

The bay area is awesome from mid spring, till mid Fall. I hate hte cold up here. I need two apartments, one is Ventura, and one up here. So I can switch around.

lol Berkeley is cheaper than SF, but not that much cheaper. I live in the Diablo Valley (East Bay) right now and I pay $1350 for a 2BD 2bath in a so-so neighborhood. The general rule is the farther you are from SF, the cheaper it is. There's places out in Bay Point/Pittsburg (about 35 miles from SF) for about the half the price of apts or lofts in SF.

I don't know your financial situation but if you plan on living in city limits, a 1 BD apt goes for about $1000 in the Mission District.

It's nice though. If you are into computers I would think about moving to somewhere near San Jose (about 20 miles from SF). SJ has about a million people and some computer jobs (if you have enough college).

Good luck bro it's nice here. The weather is awesome compared to the east coast. I'm moving to Italy in Sept. though
