Obviously I can find a hookup in one way or another, but I'm trying to figure out the easiest and safest way possible given my situation. Please note that I'm NOT looking for a hookup here, or anywhere online. So here's the deal ...

I was a total stoner growing up in Hawaii. Loved getting high. Then I met a girl who was pretty "straight" and the smoking had to stop. We got married and lived happily every after. Ok not really, but we're married anyway LOL. I miss smoking pot and combined with my stressful job, etc. I want to start smoking a little again just to mellow out. She has no problem with it at this point.

Thing is, we just recently moved to a new area. I also work from home so I haven't met tons of new people yet. The people I do know are totally straight (we are in the south and pretty much everyone I've met so far are total jesus freaks). Ugh.

Anyway, I've never had this problem so I don't know where to start. What's the best way to find a hookup? I was thinking of going down to the local mall on a Friday night and just start talking to some of the high school kids who hang out there. Problem is I'm 32 LOL. I could probably make it happen, I'm just wondering if this is the best way?

So, I was just curious what everyone else would do. If you were transplanted in a new city and didn't know anyone, and didn't want to risk your life going down to the hood, how would YOU find a hookup?

well...me being 18 i can tell you i would never trust a 32 year old lol.

uh..your best bet would probably be going to a head shop or something...maybe a concert?

you could always go down to the hood...but thats not the best way.

if you have no luck i suggest growing.

any college campuses around you? you could be kinda like that wierd old guy around here that goes to all our parties so he can score weed... he's a lot older than 32 though lol.... but seriously... there's weed all over the place here

Yes. Go to the hood. You won't come back empty handed. You can grab some rocks guaranteed in case you couldn't score some grass.

LOL. I will never ever do any other drugs for the rest of my life. You could put an 8 ball in front of me right now and I'd flush it before you knew it was gone. The hood is the obvious answer, but that would be a last resort and I don't know if I'd ever get that desperate. Too dangerous around here ...

id say find people who smoke first. hey around here people spark up in public and its not hard to tell what it is or what the age group is thats doing it. mostly i find 18-24yo just light up blunts and dubs in public. ask for a hit. ive done it. got to hit some killweed once too

Your best bet would be to go somewhere that people who smoke tend to gather.. like concerts and colleges, like was already mentioned... We met our new connections while my hubby was in school (we both go to college right now) Those are really your best bets, IMO.. Good Luck...

OKAY, I was being sarcastic. You don't go to the hood looking for dope if you don't know anyone there because chances are you're either getting robbed or screwed on the weight or something. But yeah that's the hood I guess, someone has got to get screwed.

Well tonight I scored a free smoke because my one friend told me that his friend wanted to smoke but he didn't have a dutch, well I didn't either so I just rolled a little joint and we smoked like that, it was pretty chyll.

You just have to be able to spot a marijuana smoker, theres a special way about them, i tend to study people's body language, and look at their eyes. For me though, being still in school and everything weed isn't hard to find, a major population of my school are wanabe hustlers who sometimes score some pretty good dank.

I talked to some guys today who were smoking cotton candy haze, some official shit, but they were mad they had to smoke outside. lol. O and as for the hood, I wouldn't go down there, I spend most of my days down in there, seeing as though thats where my school is, and shit, but a lot of people are grimey, the deli where everyone goes to get their dutches and cigarettes from regardless of age has a lot of grimey ass people who will ask you to run your pockets. But at least once or twice when im down there someone is either buying trees or asking me need trees. I've never been taken down for anything because I think people have some respect for me,and I dont break down easily and get scared, as most people may do. I know of someone who gave up his PSP when dude told him to run his shit at knife point, I don't really like the kid who took the PSP because he's tried shit on me mad times but he knows who I be chillin with so thats basically the only reason why I still have my 1500 dollar chain on my neck

dude i usually juts have my friends at school, like older kids, i mean i a only a jr in high school, so i don't knw alot of mo fuckin people yet, but i mean just ask around school, or like go downtown and be like yoo nukkas i need a hook up
