Durban Poison?

Well I usually just go down to the store and pick up my regular "groceries"
But today all the shops seemed to be shut, so I called up a distant freind who I knew was into growing, and half an hour later here I am at home with what he says is apparently "durban poison" from wich he grew from a seed from South Africa or some shit.
Well i just smoked one down and it seems to be a different high then the usuall stuff I get,
Much more in the head then totaly destroying my whole body.

Is this the type of stone i should be feeling? aka is it indeed Durban Poison?

It smells pretty baddass.. Stunk up my car and room pretty quick smart.
So thats a bonus I guess.

Im gonna get down to buisness now I guess and see where she takes me.

sounds like some good buds man. IMO, name doesnt matter. unless youre turning around and selling what he sells to you, in which case - who cares if hes right, slap the name on it anyways and watch the people flock for some 'named' bud.

Ive ordered Durban Poison seeds off the internet. The package said that high is a very heady high, so you might have the real poison. Also, the pics of the buds on the package were awesome, very bright green with orange hairs and CRYSTALS!!. Nice find.peace

Yes, Durban poison is 100% sativa.. Doesn't get any headier then a 100% sativa strain.. This of course grow very tall, and lanky, so most commercial growers go for a more indica strains due to the short stature and dense buds they produce.. Hey you should pick up some sensi star seeds to go with it!! Roll a joint with half sensi, and half duran poison and get the BEST of both worlds.. My favorite strain to grow though was a skunk X northern lights. I loved the buds I harvested off the plant.. talk about bag appeal.. Northern lights is a great strain to grow as they are such hardy nice growing plants!! Pick some up. northern lights X sensi star would be a heavy yeilding knock out strain no doubt!! Where did you order your seeds from?? I'm looking to pick up some seeds, but want to deal with a known supplier.. Any reccomendations for places that ship into the states??

If you really purchased a 100% sativa strain then enjoy that shit.. It's definitly A LOT harder to come by.. I prefer a knockout couch-locked indica smoke (GIVE ME MY SENSI STAR ANYDAY), but a good ole sativa is a very nice find from time to time..
