Formula 420

I was at a friends house and he cleaned his glass piece with FORMULA 420. My piece is disgusting right now and I don't feel like boiling it or cleaning it with alcohol. Does anyone know where you can buy Formula 420. Is this something they carry at like a Walmart, Target, Walgreens, Homedepot, Lowe's CVS, etc.. (Those are the stores by my house)

Ask him if you can use his. Either that or go out and get the same thing. I heard Formula 420 cleans very good.

I'm almost 100% sure formula 420 is just alcohol and salt but I could be wrong. You can get it at your local headshop or thats where ive seen it.

yeah, I've only seen it in head shops. And for some reason formula 420 has always worked better than alcohol and salt for me, and it leaves a pleasant short lived after taste

F420 is great, i got a bottle next to me..
it works a bit better then salt and alcohol, but its nothing to bust a nut over.

I boughts some "Cleaner 454" from my local headshop, and let me say, it is amazing. It reacts with the build up to create these crystals, and man, it is tight. So if you see some of that, I highly recommend it.

I just bought some 420 yesterday for the first time. I got it at a headshop. I cleaned my bubbler, slide, and bong with it. Works pretty good but it doesnt clean it flawlessly. Makes your pieces smell nice. It was only 8 bucks and id say its worth it.

Most any headshop carries the stuff, though it is available in several different varieties. All Nautral, Daily Use, Pyrex-Glass-Metal-Ceramic, and Plastic-Acrylic if I remember correctly, that's all of them.

They also make products called Spill Out and Smog Out, and they have the stuff in travel size bottles too.

Works good, but I find rubbing alcohol and rock salt or rice works just as good for me.

Edit: You're not going to find it in any of the stores you named.

Not a big fan of formula 420, orange chronic works much better. I asked a glassblower, he said the only reason products like these exist is using normal or rock salt to clean your piece creates tiny (invisible to the naked eye) scratches on the surface of the glass the resin clings to, so you'll have to clean it more frequently. Apparently the commercial solutions don't scratch the surface, so go figure.
