I gotta say that if you have weed that is only an hour away, you are not dry at all. We call them "roadies." Just make a trip of it: drive over there, smoke with your dealers, and find your way back.

I'm gonna go with Superdude on this one too. Yeah it's kind of a pain to drive an hour, but I mean, just pop in some tunes and go. Hell I have to take a half hour train ride into the city everyday. An hour to score some bud isn't really that bad, although a bit inconvienent.

The only reason I can think of for them thinking you're "rich" is because you were flaunting it. Karma bites sometimes. Like eldude-arino said, theres a complete difference between having money, and being rich. Most of the time, people who describe themselves as being rich are spoiled assholes who don't want to have to do anything for themselves.

Ha... I went to a school where a lot of kids were very wealthy and people would do lines/etc in class behind books. Smelled weed a few times in the bathroom but not very often....

So basically...not enough social skills to ask these kids for a phone number or even to stop 'fronting' money for a bag that never comes, and no way to get from one place to another without parental supervision.

I see the original poster has been banned, but my advice would have been to find a friend who does drive and have him help you out. If things were as dry as you said, I'd have no qualms about driving an hour and picking up enough for a couple weeks.
