NYC Diesel vs Sour Diesel

I was just wondering what the differences were between NYC Diesel and Sour Diesel. I was told that they are definately two different strains. But what is the difference? The high, taste, etc....

I think sour diesel is a cross between NYC Diesel and ECSD (East Coast Sour Diesel). Don't quote me on that though, but I think I remember reading that in CC a while back.

what does sour diesel look like, is it a reall popular strain, what are the highs, thc percentage, and sativa to indica ratio

Not positive but I think it's atleast more than AK-47 as far as THC %s most AK-47 I've had was 21%, my guy sends stuff to labs all the time for the hell of it.

NYC diesel is much lighter in color, and more varied in color (orange/red hairs) while sour diesel is generally darker. In my experiences sour diesel has bigger, frutier smelling colas, while NYC diesel has more of that plain super dank smell, of good weed (not skunky.) I did find more of an up high in NYC diesel and more couch w/ sour D.

Im going to have to disagree with that. I get a shitload of diesel, its pretty much one of the few big name strains around. I aslo get a decent amount of Sour diesel and ive found that the sour diesel is much lighter and it gives a lot more of a head high. and the NYC diesel is darker and has more of a body high. w/e. it shows that dealers are never consistant

Their not the same strain and I get both about twice a month. Sour diesel has a sour almost like a garlic smell and taste. Nycd smells like no other weed I've ever smelled, it has a unique smell I don't know how to describe . Nycd is my favorite, it will knock you out.

Ya sour d is alot lighter and more of a head high. Nycd is darker with alot of dark orange hairs that will just put you out.

If you have the real deal of either, you'll know it.

i liked the sour diesel better then just regular diesel, i know the sour version was created in europe, i think the UK. both are amazing though, a very clear high
