smoking and usage

so here's some background....

my mom and my dad recently got divorced. All throughout the time i was living with both of them, my mom always was very anti-drug. She might as well have been a megaphone for freevibe. My dad, however, was strangely non-commital when it came to arguments about weed (when i got caught). Now, I live with my father, and i believe the time has come to approach him about smokin one together.

My dad smokes cigs(about 3 a day) and knows that i do too. he's always been very objective when it comes to an issue... he will examine both sides of an argument, and make up his own mind, never pre-judging anything to be a certain way. As far as i know, my dad doesn't smoke weed, and hasn't since his college days (he's 47 right now).

this friday, i'm pickin up a 1/4 of some really dank herbal essence, and i wanna share it with my father. so my question is, how should i broach the subject? My dad has no clue that i smoke at all. so should i just bust out a dutch that i've already rolled and let him know that he can join in? or should i take a different approach?

any suggestions are greatly appreciated

HAHAHA i am thinking about completely forcin my dad to smoke..he said he used to smoke and his job is so laid back and he just chills all day and shit i dont know.. like dude theres no reason you shouldnt smoke!

oh, except i got a diff thing.. he knows i smoke every day.. i told him like 30 times

It will be awkward, but yeah, just straight out ask. Hope it goes well for you man. Smokin' with my dad would be cool, it will never happen, but it would be cool.

just hope he takes it the right way, i mean shit you know your dad better than any of us, just do it on a non-special day, jsut randomly ask him politaly and respectfully and i think youll get a good answer

Man i went to an Allman Bros concert with my dad and had an ace in my pocket... everyone around me was smokin pot it was incredible. But I was too pussy to ask my dad if he wanted to smoke. Im sure he knows that I do but i dont know if he would want to, you see he is all in to astronomy and camping and sweet music like rolling stones zeppelin dylan doors floyd, etc but he is a psychiatrist and if he failed a DT that would be it man. Hes kinda up in the ranks where he works u know. Plus i know he used to when he was a kid. Oh well maybe ill ask him once he retires... if that ever happens which i doubt. My mom however, ive told her im getting her high when she retires but i think she took it as a joke...

ur dad sounds alot like my dad. he finally let me know that he knew i was smoking when i was 17 about 2 years ago. he was cool with it he just didnt want me to be stupid and get caught with the law or anything. finally 1 day i had my own blunt n it was late n he was up so i asked him if he wanted to smoke. at first he hesitated but then i told him my mom would never find out and he decided to join me. this would b the 1st blunt he ever smoked with me but definitley not the last.

ask your dad if he smokes weed like this "hey dad, do u still smoked weed?" when he says yes, which he will, ask him if he wants to join. 'sthat easy.

lol my parents know i smoke weed but no way in the world i would dare pull out a joint and ask them to share it loooooool fuck knows what they would say ? they would probally accuse me of being so high that i dont know what im doing

Well how'd it go? I smoke with my dad when I go to his house on the weekend, so chill, its feels like a ritual even though we've only been doing for a little while now.

we just got into a discussion about his college days, and he told me how he always smoked because he felt like it helped even him out. that's when i pulled out the pre-rolled J
