good idea or am i forgeting about something?

i was thinking of how i could make an easy to make cheap bong, and i had a great idea, one of those huge ass poland spring bottle, a bowl (http://omnilounge.com/detailview.cfm?product=1435), and then cut the top of slightly of the bottle so i can put in ice cubes, sounds like it be a pretty fucking sweet bong. and cheap too. anything i'm missing though? would i be better off making it with a smaller bottle, so i don't have to use as much weed? also where does the carb go? how far up?

sounds cool, tho last bong i made for some reason the plastic got real messed up, till i tried that glass bong instructions up a few posts, that works great, but the carb should go somewhere were u usually hold the bong like up towards the mouthpiece or somthing
