Red Hairs on herb. Fact or Fiction?
Ive heard so many different stories/thoughts/concepts behind wether or not the hairs on a chunk of nug means that it is higher grade nug than one wtih fewer of these hairs. Does anyone else have a theory on what these little hairs might determine, or not determine for that matter.
please let me know!

i remember hearing that the more hairs it has the healthier the plant..... I think it has something to do with the potency too

Bud with red hairs is more potent, and if I remember correctly it's because the grower let the bud reach its maximum potential. Buds without red hairs were harvested too soon.
Correct me someone if I'm wrong

Red hairs are niiiiiiccceee, so are white and orange. those are like the big three in my view, with purple being an obious option as well

you want them amber if possible.......too red and the grower has left it a bit too late, and the weed will lose some potency..........theres a good pic on the city, i got from somewhere a while ago, others have posted it too, it shows when to harvest, and the pistol colours, i thought i still had it but i don't.........anyone got it?...........Peace out.......Sid

Any color of hair besides brown is good. I think brown means that it's fairly schwaggy.

^well, how brown? because i've seen some real dark oranges that blew my mind. but the best i've ever seen were bright yellow hairs...
but as too hairs... i believe that just means its a well grown indoor... if im correct, some of the bud i get around here w/o hairs is outdoor and is just as good and sometimes better than indoors... or at least the hairs weren't very prominent. i doubt im even close

Hairs are an indicator of the plant's health and maturity, and of course, a more healthy plan or a plant that was harvested at the right time is at a high level of potency.

I enjoy red/orange hairs on my buds. Looks nice too.
Best bud I'v ever had, had lots of pink hairs. (only time i'v ever seen those)

iv had weed with no red hairs that was super chronic..
like super silver haze i cna't think of any other strains but i have smoked hairless bud that was super chron...
