And i just cant do it. Whatever i write sounds like total bullshit. So please, what are some good points I can make? I basically need to say trying marijuana was a bad mistake, I wont do it again and i learned to think about my future.

I seriously cant write bad about the herb without sounding like a total faggot or without being completely unrealistic.

I know theres many intelligent people on the city and am hoping a few can help me out. The main thing ive been using is "even though marijuana may not be as physically bad for you as other drugs, it can still do just as much damage"

thats a good one. Ill say it takes way too much money to support a drug habbit, and if your using drugsm then it will be very hard to get a job.

Is it only anti-cannabis? If not you could just put in a short section about it.

Things I can think of - There is possible risk of throat or lung problems from the Cannabinoids (or was it something else?) present in cannabis.

It can sometimes make you forgetful, although really only while stoned.

While stoned you can sometimes make stupid mistakes, although they usually arent that major.

It can decrease some peoples motivation.

Psychologically addictive, although so is everything else we enjoy, so that makes no difference.

There isnt really any serious things you can say to put down cannabis as a bad drug. Society and Laws are the main reason why its bad - all down to its illegal status and views due to propaganda.

Why do you have to write it anyway?

once we had to do a speech about drugs in my health class, i took up an entire period and mow my health teacher has joined the crusade to legalize theraputical MDMA(ecstacy), dont write nething bad about it just do a madly informative paper about why its not bad.

A couple things:
-It can force you to hang out with some shady-ass people to get a hold of it. (Even though that doesn't really apply after a couple months once you're hooked up)
-You "don't know" what you're putting into your body as "dealers are unscrupulous and only care about money" (Even though this is only true for some dealers)
-The product may be adulterated (cite soapbar, embalming fluid spraying and maybe hygiene? as examples)
-Whilst you're high you can lose things, do stupid things and "perhaps even cause harm to yourself and others" (The last one's pretty much bull)
-Weed is expensive and although not physically addictive the desire to be high can "cause you to divert monetary resources away from more essential items" (lmao I can't believe I'm saying this shit =S I feel your pain, man!)
-The profits from weed are channeled into organised crime.

Don't mention that almost all of the above problems could be solved by legalisation, proper competetive pricing and proper quality controls and you should be fine.

I can't think of any more right now, it's hard rooting for the other team so-to-speak! Hope all goes well for you!
