Question on old weed

I was wondering like you got an once of weed or any amount actually but you keep it for a while and it gets old and starts to dry out.... i dont know if anyone has had this most likely they have but it gets extra dry, really easy to break up... but does that make the weed less potent? and i heard of keeping weed in like the refridgerator or the freezer i forgot but if you keep it in the freezer do you have to like thaw the weed or something?

If it dries out it does lose potency, the easiest way to keep potency and freshness is an air-tight jar. If you are going to store it in a freezer you need to make sure that it's stored in a freezer bag (preferably double bagged) to prevent freezer burn. You do not need to thaw it out, but it will take a while to get the bowl going. Also, the only reason you really need to store it in a freezer is if you're going to store it for more than 3 or 4 months. If it's less then 3 or 4 months just use an air tight jar.
