lets say God gave you the choice....

the choice to get rid of all the drugs on earth forever. noone will do herion, crack, and all the other bad stuff. you know how many families are ruined from heavy drugs every year? you could cut the violence in the world into fractions and tons of people would be free men again. but the catch...this would take away our green friend also. So what would you do?

you couldnt let all those people die...could you?

that would also take away alcohol, and the awesomely awesome cafine (sp?) which i am horribly addicted to

it would also take away all the prescription drugs, and otc drugs, which are very helpful to you when you have a headache, i think that since all the drugs that are used for medical purposes would also be taken away, and all that research gone to waste, and even more ppl, (probably) would die from not getting medicine for their disease or w/e happened to them. then i dont think that it would be a good idea to get rid of all the drugs.

i would say keep them all, because if you take away all the drugs and then if you get sick, then there is no cure. next time you get a headache the only cure would be sleep

and plus weed isnt a drug

First of all god gave us free will to do what we wish, and i personaly dont think any subtance could control me in anyway, i think its just the people who think they addicted that have no will power, but thats just my opinion... so id say i wouldnt, becouse i love my green friend so much

i think he was just talking about pshycoactive drugs. i wouldnt really consider advil a drug. but yea as a whole i would say drugs help more then hurt the world.

it would definitely depend on the fine print. what exactly is your definition of "drug"? My dad sells pharmaceuticals and at one point was known as a "drug rep." Between the several companies he has worked for he has sold everything from heart medication to eye drops to sleeping medicine to something to keep people from going blind from macular degeneration. These are all known as drugs. However, if we were to get rid of all harmful drugs then I'd say yes even though I love mary jane with all my heart. But this brings up another issue of what exactly are harmful drugs? Thousands of people die every year from ODing on aspirin. Caffeine is addictive, but doesn't necessarily do harm. It's a hard call unless it's stated in a very specific way.

And no, I would not take away all the drugs. Because god (if there is a god, a whole different issue) has to make that decisoin, not me. Besides, car accidents kill thousands of people every year, does that mean we should get rid of all the cars?

*PS: The government created crack, so blame them for all the crack heads and the families destroyed from crack use.
