Marijuana and ADD/ADHD

I suffer from Attention Defecit Disorder, and because of it I do horrible in school. When I was a child my parents took me to a psychiatrist because I was a hyper ass little shit, and they said I had a high IQ, but ADHD was holding me back. I'm not so hyper anymore, so now I only have ADD. Ritalin turns you into a zombie and I say fuck taking that.

Has anyone ever used marijuana to help with ADD? I need something to help me get through boring ass school. They teach all of this shit, and once I get how to do it, I dont want to do hours of homework and busy work when I already get it. There's nothing I can do about it without getting D's and C's. I've been overworking myself trying to not feel like a failure for too long. I only hope that our magical herb can help me with this. Any ideas on if weed can help?

I dunno, but my friend has ADHD and he's a huge stoner. Seems to calm him down I guess...
