mucus in lungs

I have been smoking weed on almost a daily basis for about a month now and about a week ago I have been coughing up a lot of mucus, anyone else have this problem? seeing as how its cold out I may just have a cough, all input is apreciated

mucus is natural, i been smokin steady since ... well, since i started smoking... woo was that long ago, but when you get a resin deposit on the back of your tongue, thats gross, gotta scrub it for like 10 minutes with toothpaste and mouthwash

i had the same problem once. i went on a smoking binge and didnt stop for a while after a while i started to get a cough and get all stuffy. i first thought it was lung damage from the weed, but i realized i just had a cold, because marijuana lowers your immune system making it easier to get sick, thats why when i smoke now i always drink some orange juice or suck on those vitamin c cougdrops.

i was coughing up a storm recently when i was smoking 2 blunts a day on average. when i woke up in the morning i had the nastiest phlegm (spelling?). now i only smoke weekends and im a healthy boy.

well to answer your question people think its weed because the natural thing to do is look for a cause or change in your normall activities I think its perfectly normal that he asks this question

Now to answer the authors question, I think I may have had the same thing at one point I just cutt down on my smoking and dressed more warmly I advise you to do the same as as one member posted you may want to take some vitamens, although I dont agree that it would be of value to take it each time you smoke ... I also disagree that weed lowers your imune system ... ok maybe a little but that type of effect (lowering of the imune system) is something more commanly found when exparamenting with E and shrooms
