One night over the summer 2 of my friends took a trip to a nearby college town and hit up some parties. I guess they gave some dudes a ride home and in return the guys smoked some Maui Wowie with em. My friends came back the next day and had 2 j's of the Maui Wowie Leaf. The 3 of us smoked the smaller j but it burned way too fast... only went around 3 times. But we were all high as hell, it was crazy. Then we met up with 2 other friends and smoked the fatter j in a bowl... All 5 of us were just blazed. My friend and I were walking down the street just cracking up laughing and whispering to eachother when we talked... then we got to my house and sat down.. looked at eachother and cracked up again. Good times. Anyway, about a week ago we were up in this town again looking to score a bag since our town is usually dry or only has Dirties or Low Grade Commercial shit for sale... After about 2 hours of no success, we went to the Maui Wowie guys place and he had a bag of decent Chron for $50... of course I picked that shit up... but anyway we found out that a lot of Maui Wowie is coming up around Thanksgiving and going for $60 an 1/8... so this is a question for anyone that has smoked actual Maui Wowie bud before... is it worth $60?? Judging from my experience with the Leaf shit I would definetely say yes... since the Leaf got me higher than I got from the $50 shit last week, but what do you think?

harvest time for maui wowie is mid october so i guess it makes sense that it shows up around thanksgiving, save a couple seeds and grow some.

Bud in Hawaii is generally super expensive, but you get really good shit, because some growers are good... whenever out-of-towners come by, they get floored. I say the real thing is hard to beat, so load up buddy when you can.

Maui wowi is a strain that has tons of orange hairs. I have heard that it tastes very fruity and knocks you on your ass. I wish I had the priviledge to try some but the bud i'm getting right now is just as kick ass.

Interesting , im from California also LA area , i've never smoked real mowie wowie and i was thinking same thing road trip but think about it really . is mowie wowie a east or west coast strain im really stoned and if its east coast i hear more about NY sour desiel than mowie wowie and as far as i heard no one has it . If im wrong someone please tell me . even so i wouldnt be able to verifiy it was real and not just some random strain.... interesting thoughs back to the bong.

I smoked mauie wowie from a club, and man, that shit plus a long thelonius monk cd that was 90% improv. Blew me and a room of people away with this sweet vape.
