the different levels of being high?

I usually just use whatever word pops out first,but this is probably my scale:

LEVEL 1: Buzzed
LEVEL 2: High
LEVEL 3: Stoned
LEVEL 4: Baked
LEVEL 5: Blazed

Basicly 1-2 hits, i can only feel a little tingle. 3-5 hits, I feel out of it. 5-7 hits, my body is like gone, i cant feel anything. 8-10 hits, Im completely gone and dont remeber anything. Anything thats higher than that is just a crazy night.

Once i got pretty damn baked that towards the end of the joint i took this huge inhalation, kept it in for 5 seconds... and when i let loose absolutely no smoke came out... so i look back at my roach and realize that it had been out for about 2 minutes and my past 2-3 hits were of nothing but air...

I think thats about as bad as it gets...

lol, i know what ya mean... or when ya take a hit and hold it in, then almost instantaniously (damn thats a big word for me, i hope i spelled it right ) you find yourself lying on the floor with all the shit you just knocked over lying all over the place and like a minute or 2 have gone by....






well since i always smoke the same shit (homegrown) out of the same pipe i guess i kind of have a scale....

1 hit: neck and face get tingly. feel high but can still manage to get work done, and think through complicated problems in a relativly short amount of time.

3 or so hits: get kinda off balance... cant walk a straight line... takes longer to think things through...

6 - 8 (i usually lose count by now, so im just guessin): constant smile, laugh at just about anything... people seem to like me around this time... especially at the grocery store or gas station... can strike up a conversation with anyone... and make them laugh... have been known to solve domestic disputes around this point...

9 ~ 12: enter deep thought, usually stare at something for atleast an hour or two. come up with ideas and draw them out in notebooks (have about 15 of those spiral bound notebooks covered front to back with genius ideas that are virtually impossible to decipher sober). sometimes space out in the middle of spacing out... lotsa fun (for me atleast, if your around i look like a damn vegtable for afew hours)

~13 ~ 16: really fucked up, will get up and try to walk somewhere and either instanly fall over or walk into a wall, then backup and walk into the same wall... feel like the room is spinning, kind of like spinning around in circles really fast for like 20 minutes then stopping, except without the massive headache... usually takes a minimum of about 7 or 8 hours to get back down to where i'd be after about 3 hits...

16 ~ 20: kind of start to get a second wind, can fuction abit more normally i.e. can have somewhat of a conversation, kind of walk, but memory is completly gone... can repeat the same sentence 5 or 6 times and not realize it what so ever... get up and walk out of the room and walk right back in and not remember that i was just there... usually last 10+ hours... can wake up the next morning and not recall the day before at all... one time woke up in a friends bed with 2 chicks and a guy (for gods sake dont ask) and thought nothing of it until 2 or 3 hours later... im kinda glad i have no idea of what happened the night before (just left, never talked to that friend again)... so far i've only gone this far afew times.....

my favorite time is at 6 - 12 hits.... but usually at every moment im awake im on atleast the 1 hit level... have been for quite awhile and dont plan on stopping anytime in the near future...

i first know when im high, becausemy toes almost..idk lose feeling, and i find it harder to light the lighter, also, i start staring at things..and my mind wonders and i forget to hit the pipe, then i look down and see the pipe and get excited that i have it in my hand and havent hit it yet

I only have three levels i guess. I'm probably a lot less experienced than the rest of you though, and I have very little tolerance. 1 normal hit or 2 small hits gives me a buzz, but i can still act normal pretty easily if i try. It just tends to relax me. 3-6 hits gets me high. I use high, baked, and stoned, interchangeably. It's difficult to hide this from people that know me, i can't stop grinning, and i laugh a lot. After seven i begin to get rather lethargic. I don't laugh quite so much anymore, and i don't want to move. At all. I have lots of blanks stares, and my mind goes blank too.

ive smoked twice now... my frist time was out of a bubbler and it took about 2 bowls between 4 of us before i started feeling spacy, after the 3rd bowl i was laughing at the stupidist shit then for the 4th my friend pulled out a big ass bong and thats when i started getting dizzy like and i think i was done after the 5th bowl, we started walking to another house to crash and all my senses were delayed like i would step on a crack in the sidewalk and it would take a second before i felt it also they said i was walking wicked funny. it was like 10mins by the time we got into the house and by then i was hungry we ate and i then i felt like i was going to pass out so i closed my eyes and feel asleep.... my question is...since i am new to this....how high do you guys think i was? hahaha my second time was pretty much the same but it was 2 bowls between 2 of us. that was the most fun i ever had in my life because we hung out in a hot tub and said the stupidist shit. thats how high ive been so far. im not sure how to stage it....maybe you guys could helpe me out.

May I be the first to say welcome to the city, population: um... However many people there are here. Sounds like a pretty great first coupla times to me Keep at it.
My levels (probably), with the bud I have at the moment which is by far the best I've had yet... This is with well packed bowls.
1 bowl = Pretty buzzed. Start to space out a little- everything slows, everything feels good, tea (the drink) becomes amazing, and music rocks. Still can act perfectly normal if I concentrate.
2 bowls = A little stoned. Enhancement of above stuff. Still can act just about normal but my mind wanders more and I do stuff like go to empty the bong into the sink / out the window whatever and forget to cover the carb ... dang.
3 bowls = As far as I've gone with the new stash. Nice toasted. Still in control, but in a detached way. Feel as if I'm dreaming, the colour of things tends to become sepia, and I look at stuff like I'm watching a movie.
When it comes to slang... I reckon it'd be buzzed, toasted, stoned, zonked (anyone else say this? lol), baked and then blazed. Don't tend to use any other words for it, lol.

Well, even though I don't have to, I am going to get extremely terminalogical and also complicated in my explanation (or maybe it's just me). Ok, I will average it off by saying, I am smoking a 1g blunt (wrap) of some good mids and taking medium sized hits....

I can't really say how many hits each would take to get to a certain level, seeing as you can't do 2 things exactly the same twice.

I think I can put the stages of me beign high into about 4 levels. The first would be

Buzzed- A slight disconnection between things, and a feeling that things are different.

High- technically even being buzzed is a high but you are definately off baseline and are feeling pretty good

Baked- The body and mind sensation where everything is different and new, thoughts are created and lost within seconds and huge concepts are thought and lost almost instantly

Tripping- It may ust be me but I can get high to the point where I have had full visual hallucinations fo another world, another dimension with only smoking weed. But this was really good KB, probably Sativa too. The Indica equivalent is probably zoning out for long periods of time and having "no clue whats going on". Meditation also seems to increase my high like 10x, you should really read The Psychedellic Experience

haha i hate when this happens.. i'll start smoking and get a good buzz/high going and i'll sit down for a minute but then i get too lazy to start smoking again because i am content with the 'mediocre high.'

i gotta learn to force myself to smoke more to get a really really baked high going. and of course as someone else said it always seems harder to get the lighter working properly.

i need a new bowl though, a deeper one.. mine now doens't hold enough and after 1 bowl i'm high but not really high, but at the same time i am too lazy to pack it again.. so i need a bowl that can hold alot and i can just smoke that and be baked.
