Glass on Glass Question

Im gonna be buying a new bong soon and want to get glass on glass.
My question is, is it worth it to gett all glass on glass with the bong, downstem joint being glass on glass? Does it make much of a difference or should I just get a normal bong and put in a glass on glass downstem.

I personally use a Jerome Baker custom with a glass on glass downstem, and it chiefs to a great extent. I notice a few people on there have all glass/glass bongs (like R00Rs, etc) with no gaskets; I have never used one myself, and I'm curious about this as well. Perhaps someone could provide some insight? Does it really make much difference? Thanks , peace

I've only known of 2 that are still around here; the local shops here used to sell them a few years back. JB closed down shop I believe because of government investigation. I don't know where they have gone

JB got shut down for selling them over the net, I believe. The store got closed down for a bit but re-opened after a few months.

i actually just bought a glass on glass bong tonight, and put it through quite a rigorous smoking test

. i must admit i have no complaints whatsoever.

i'd recommend it

It makes it more of an air-tight fit, and does a damn good job of it...

i find glass on glass tends to hit better, but i still wouldnt turn down a bowl in a grommet bong :P
