smoking and usage

Have you ever noticed how some type of weed burns fast and other types burn slow? A lot has to do with moisture and the way it was broken up I know, but theres more to it than that I think. I had some bomb dank a few days back that burned like weed should. Now I got some schwaggy mids and they don't burn at all...I have to really torch it to get it to burn on its own.

Man this is crappy herb...but can't complain, I got it for free. Happy high times Grasscity!

Ya i know what you mean some weed when u are hitting it, itll smoke like a motha fucker when u pass it and some buds barely emite any smoke when ure passing it.

Well there are thousands of different strains, I'm sure the burning effect is different for a lot.

I think high quality bud burns better because it's more consistant than schwag. Low quality herb has more stems, which would make the smoke harsher, and doesn't burn as well.

I find that if your piping weed, and you bust it up before you put it in the bowl, it burns quicker then if you just put a nug in. I find dry weed burns right quick and wet weed burns right slow.

what really gets me, is that fluffyass dank shit. cuz its dank, you expect it to burn pretty slow, but it turns out it was all fluff and ya burn a bowl in less than a rotation.

Know what ya mean.. My guy will have a certain batch of kind bud for a while, and sometimes it's that fluffy shit. It always makes the bag look hooked up, but it burns pretty fast.

Thats why, when I buy from my dealer (who is also my respected friend) I squeeze the bud just a little to see if its either fluff, or some nice compact bud. If its pillow-shit, I pass, and buy a shitload when he has something better on him.

Fluff-stuff is a lot like kief and shake, it burns better because more of it is exposed to the flame, making more of it burn thus resulting in one, sound, round high!
