Taking a Break

Last night I was doing my normal routine and smoking a bowl in the bedroom. Nothing out of the ordinary. Well, I finished off the pipe, and a few minutes afterwards my mom walked into my room. Normally she never comes into my room, especially after I already said good night and everything, but she needed to borrow these vitamins I had.

Well, she definately smelled smoke and definatley was mad. I've been caught alot, but mostly by my dad, whos a bit more understanding. I got a possesion ticket before, which my mom knew about, and she actually cried when the cop was writing it out.

But she expressed how disapointed she was, and took away my pipe.

So I got to thinking, I should take a break from trees until I get to school. It's about twenty or twenty five days away, which would be the longest break I've had from weed in a long time.

I really want to take the break for my mom's sake. I hate putting her through unnecessary stress. I'm just wondering how difficult it would be, especially since this is the last month of summer before starting my freshman year at college. Plus, I'm going up to my friends camp for the last few days of summer, and there will definately be trees there. And I'd want to smoke with all the kids I wont be seeing in a while when I'm gone.

But, I'm giving it my shot. It'll be nice to have money laying around from my paychecks and I'll be able to buy a few ounces when I get to school and I'll get super blazed after the break.

Sorry for the long rant, just wanted to get it outta my system. Nice to have your guys support too. Oh, and I'll definately keep visiting the City, so I'll see ya around.

a break would be good in two ways:

-you could show your mum ypur are not addicted, telling her that you actually stop just to showw her. and that you have decided to keep on smoking because it is your decision.
-you will very much enjoy the next puff.

it's good to take a break sometimes... and it's good to see that you car enough about your mom to stop for the rest of summer... it will probably be hard, but you can do it... in the end, it will be well worth it...

Good luck man. Im on a break right now too. its hard but I know when I take my first puff labor day weekend it will be all worth it. And You will have some extra money to buy a bubbler or something. God I love the tree. God please make it legal.. please please.

I have to stay clean for 3 months. I just got back from court and I need to take a 3 month drug/alcohol class where they do drug tests.

I was just talking to my mom about it, and I told her I was done for the time being. She said she was proud of me, which was a good feeling.

She told me just to get my priorities straight for now. She said that when I'm done with school and I'm out in the real world, that I could do whatever I'd like. She told me if I wanted to smoke weed then, than that was fine with her.

It was a nice little chat. Now I really got to be sure not to break my promise.

yeah man, that'll be good to just keep your head clear before you go to school. and plus, now you won't forget anything you'll need when packing for college, haha. the extra money is always nice, and its good that you told your mom you were stopping for her. i'm sure she appreciated it.

Heh, I just had a similar conversation with my dad. After my mom mentioned me being able to smoke all I want after school, my dad added,

"Yeah, plus I still have all forty eight of your pipes I've taken, and you can have them back after college."

man, i've been caught so many times, and my moms cried over it too......but i aint stoppin, because there aint no problems over pot unless she catch me........

but u takin a break until school?? why dont u keep smokin, TILL school, and then stop.......
