Short Term Memory Loss Theory.
Ok last night while incredibly blaazed out of my mind I came up with this theory.

When they say the 'negative' effects of smoking marijuana is 'Short Term Memory Loss,' well I don't believe that to be entirely correct.

My theory is, it's not memory loss if you are not paying attention, hearing, listening to, and comprehending the words of whoever is talking to you.

When you forget what somebody said, it's because you are fucking stoned and are deep in thought about something or just totally zoning out.

It happened to me last night. I was cleaning out my bowl after smoking it and all the lights were off so I couldn't tell for sure if someone was there. (Last night I was soo high. Was hearing/seeing shit)

Anyway, my sister came downstairs and yelled at me because I hit some guys car and got some scratches and shit on my/our car. (it was his fault. long story). So for the next 3 hours I was paranoid as hell because I couldn't remember talking to my sister but I thought I vaguely heard her say "I'm Pregnant."

And when your stoned you begin thinking about elaborate complex stories. So I started putting the pieces together like, "Ok 2 nights ago she was at a party so I guess thats what happened."

But anyway yeah, I was paranoid last night so that kind of ruined my high but I was soo damn high.

But uh yeah, the original point of this thread was about how Short Term Memory Loss doesn't actually exist. Instead it should be called Short Term ADD..

no man they dont mean short term memory loss while you're high. they mean short term memory loss in general is slightly debilitated. and sometimes i agree with that.

if they meant while you're high, then it's also when you're drunk or blown off any other drug

OMG THATS HOW I AM WHEN I AM HIGH. I THINK I HEAR SUMTHING AND I COMPLETELY GO OFF AND THINK OF SOME COMPLEX STORY THAT SEEMS ALL TRUE BUT WHEN I BECOME NORMAL AGAIN I REALIZE IT WAS DA STUPIDEST SHIT EVER LOL

the more i think about it, i don't even think my sister came downstairs at all to talk to me.

god i was freaked out that night though. it was intense as hell. of course watching aqua teen hunger force really brought on some much needed laughs and relief.

^^^ lol....MJ does cause short term memory loss...its only temporary, but also good at the same time...who wants to rememeber everything anyway? not me..but i know what ya mean with ADD like effects lol...someone will be talking to me while im really ripped and i think its selective hearing...cause i'll hear random things but the person will be talkin to me for an hour or so and ill jsut be spaced out (good for school)...theres another thing MJ benefits, helps you put up with annoying people, even though they are a buzz kill.

I had a moment like that before, where I'm not sure if it really happened or what.

I had just got caught smoking and was having a conversation with my dad, and I'm almost positive he told me, "I've smoked more pot in my day than you ever will."

Yet I know for a fact that at times before that he told me he had never smoked before.

nah that would be disgusting.

i thought she told me that cuz she just found out or something, and she was at a party the night before.

but then i couldn't remember it actually happening and i probably concocted the whole thing in my head.
