Some people will tell you to boil it and it works out well for some but I don't recommend it. Pour alcohol in it. Pour salt in it. Seal up the holes and shake the shit out of it.  It'll get clean.

Maybe its just me but personally i find the way to get it sparkling clean is to use the search button. Honestly it works every time. Looks brand spanking new after too. Later

The search button is God. Woulda answered this question faster than any response. ALthough, i am one to give advice rather than say 'search button' so just go with rmjl.

If I were to boil my pipe, is there any way I can get the resin, or will all the resin rinse off as I boil it? Because I have been wanting to clean my pipe, but I usually like to save the resin for when I'm dry and need to get high. So if there isn't a way to keep the resin, then I probably will just use another method of cleaning.

your best bet is going to be scrape the resin now, because after you boil it the resin will be no good. but you can scrape it out of the bottom of the pot if you want. dont let it dry there though. my friend tells me you have to boil more water to get it out.

rubbing alcohol, thats what i use to clean my pipes and it works great, either that or warm salt water.

rubbing alcohol and salt. the alcohol pulls the tar off alone and salt doesn't disolve in alcohol, so the salt works real well as somethin to chip away at resin. just dump that mix in there and shake like hell. (orange 420 cleaners and shit like that are a waste of money.. alcohol+salt is just as good/better)
