How to smoke inside w/ rents near.

Ok, I see that over the past like, month, there have been a lot of newcomers. So I figure, if they don't know how to use the 'Search' button, I may write an article on how to smoke in your room while still living with your rents. This is for smoking in your room or any room with a window. First off, open the window (........). Yes you can still think, you arn't stoned yet. Make a sploof. What you do is, take a 20oz soda bottle. There is also another way to make a sploof explained later (if you dont have a 20oz). Cut slits in the bottom. I usually have a pattern where its 1 on each of those bumpy thingys. And don't worry, the slits are actually a lot easier to breath threw then alot of people think. Do some test-blowing to make sure you can blow out easily enough so you don't cough (if you are a NEEWWWWbie :P). Then take some dryer sheets, aproximatly 4-6, and stuff them in there. I usually take like 2, wrap them individually in a ball, and stuff them in the bottom, then take 2, and put them in straight tall (up), and then wrap the last 2 into a ball and keep them near the top. Do some test-blows threw it now and make sure you can still exhale threw it easily. Try cupping your hands on the bottom where the slits are then breath in the air and make sure it smells slightly like dryer sheets (I know its lame, but how else can you test if noone else is there? :P). If you dont have a 20oz bottle, get either a toilet-paper roll or a towel-paper roll and stuff it with 2-3 sheets. They do not work as good but it still helps TONS. Next, get a towel, and secure it to the bottom of your door. So the smoke cannot escape. Me and a friend didnt do ANY of these things except for opening a window. My brother comes in after a smoke a few bowls and say that the entire hallway smells like weed, so we'd better stop, and we did. So beware smoke can stink up a house quickly :O. Also, you may want to get an de-oderizer. I always have a bottle of Febreeze in my closet. Then when you spark a bowl, always make sure that you blow the smoke threw the sploof out the window. Because you dont want your room smelling too much like dryer sheets or else you get suspicious parents. Also, if you have a fan somewhere, you may want one right next to your window blowing smoke out the window. And one more thing, some of my friends are still huge coughers. So when you feel you are going to cough, put your mouth up against a pillow or a blanket. It can cover up the sound a lot. I hope this has helped you alot. Combining the towel under the door, blowing your smoke threw a sploof threw a fan out the window, coughing (if you have to) into a blanket, then using a de-odorizor to get rid of any last-standing smell, you should be good to go. I hope this has helped more people then it has just wasting space on the forums. Good luck minors and/or people still living with rents (like me =)).

Not bad, but it's actually better to do it like this. I am a college kid home on summer vacation so I too must smoke in my room often.

You mentioned the FAN, which is the most important tool in all of this. Either get a fan that fits directly in the window or get a regular fan and prop it up really close to the window, put it on high. I have a regular desk fan from the 70's that I just put on a shoebox which I put on my bed and point towards the window. I spend a few seconds to get the angle and distance just right, you should too.

Close the door to the room, but DON'T put a towel under the door because fresh air is trying to come into the room from there now that the fan is pointing out the window. You can always do a test by closing the door with the fan on and feeling for air seeping in from the cracks of your door. It's a good thing so no towel is needed if you feel air coming in.

Next is to have a full drink ready(to help with your breath) and lock your door. Now you're ready to toke. The trick is to smoke very close to the back of the fan so that almost all smoke goes directly outside. In between hits, cover the bowl, then blow the hit directly into the back of the fan so it almost all goes outside. When you are done smoking, put the bowl away fast along with the weed and lighter if ya want. Drink that drink and go wash your hands good.

Now you have to wait about 5-10 minutes for the room to be completely weed-smell-free. It airs out MUCH faster if you open your door and you won't make the hallway smell b/c everything is heading out the window. Just keep an eye out for the rents.

A last good tip is to see what your rents are up to right before you toke. Make sure they see you so that if they need you for anything they will probably ask you then.

the number one way not to get caught is planning your time when you smoke. i can smoke just about anywhere when theres people around and not get caught. you just have to make sur your doing it when theyre busy, or doing anything that they wont go in/around your room. then you can smoke. you can open windoes, use fans, toilet paper rolls, incence whatever but as long as your parents dont have a reason to come into your room, and you dont give them one like having not done somehting you were supposed to do, or music to loud or anything, you can smoke and get away with it.

That certainly works, the only problem with doing it in your room, is that if your parents knock on your door mid session, or any time within 10-15 minutes after smoking your screwed. Thats why I only do this at night when my rents are asleep.

The best place in my oppinion is the bathroom, but it needs at least one of those powered vent things, a window is a plus.

I lock the door with a small piece allready packed, then toke down the bowl as fast as I comfortably can. Get up as close as you can to your vent and slowly exhale each hit. Dont blow it out real fast because then alot of the smoke is going to waft around the bathroom and not into the vent.

If necessary, start running the shower when toking to cover up any suspicious noises.

After your done smoking take a shower, brush your teeth, deoderant... everything you normally do to get ready in the morning. Try and maximize the amount of time between when you finished the bowl and when you leave the bathroom without being suspicious, and use all those smelly bathroom products, and it should be safe by the time your done.

The bathroom is good because its like a safehaven, you dont have to open the door for anyone when your taking a shower.

If you have a double window fan deal like I do, then put em both on out while you're toking, then put it on air exchange when you're done. It airs out my room like nothing else.

yea ill only usually toke when they are sleeping. but sometimes they go to sleep like late so by the time i toke i pass out within an hour and basically wasted weed.

yeah that always sucks lol. a bad time to smoke is around the time your parents goto bed but not after they already have. cuz my mom always just opens my door to say goodnight and not to stay up to late and shit before she goes to bed, so if i do it then it would suck.

oh yeah and taking a shower then getting out but leave the water running and smoke then so it seems like your still in the shower and shit is good too

and one way not have people walk in on you is saying your gonna go take a nap becuase people dont usually come into the room if your sleeping.

this is what you do ppl..... make a pop bottle bong if you dont have one. light it up...... hit the bong.... cover the bowl when you take your hit to smother the fire and smoke. no smoke goes into the air! and just hold it in until you absorb nearly all of the smoke, so there will nto be any... so lets see..... no smoke comes from the bong.......none comes out of you....... so bam, or home free, i do it all the time. o and pop a breathmint because the shit you exhale is like nastly stale air, and maybe spray a squirt of deoderizor in the air.

Another good point to point is if you are smoking in the house, then turn off the ac or heat so that the smoke doesn't get sucked up and then pushed back out thruout the house making the whole house smell.

I dont even bother tryin to smoke in the house when my parents are home. Its really not that hard to take a 2 minute walk over to the park. So why take the chance of getting caught.

dude u bring me bak some old memeorys ok i got tons of ideas for ur lil problem i use to do this all the time when i lived at home ok 1st get a toilet paper roll empty no paper on it just the brown thing then get some dryer sheets get like 10 of them stuff them in it and goto some where totaly away in the house like in ur room in ur closet shut the door and smoke blow the smoke in the toilet tube the smoke that comes out will smell like the dryer sheets tyr it out works everytime also citrus sprays with 80% or higher orange,lemons,limes will kill all smoke smells wut so ever so that will kill it or wait till they leave and the smell goes away in about 10 min or just wait till they r outside swimming or mowing or yardwork then smoke hope i helped ya out later

I smoke in my bedroom all the time in fact its the olny place i feel safe. waht i do is opne a window turn the a/c and fan on and then smoke... and i found out that my rents are heavy sleepers the hard way me and my freind where high off our ass and my friend is playin wit lighter and axe makin a flamethower thing next thing u kno the smoke detectors goes off i gget soo scared i try to hide every thing then i layed down... waited like 10 min fell asleep they never came up

this is so funny, because i used to smoke in teh shower alot, lately ive just been smokin in my room. i had to use the excuse of "i got hella soap in my eyes, they hurt really bad" and it worked once. but one time i came down andmy eyes were insane bloodshot and my dads like "come here, have you ben doing ssometthing you shouldnt be doing? jsut between us" and im all "no why what the..." and then ended up going on compooter. from then on they are kind of suspiscious it sucks. only smoke when they in bed, if they arent, do it in shower then go into your bed and act like you're asleep. that works perfect.
