Tips for making a joint burn slower?

I'm going to empty out a cigarette and pack in some regs. Other than breaking up the bud real fine and packing it in there as best I can, does anyone know how I can make it burn slower? Everytime I've done this before, it burned so damn fast I wasted a lot of herb. I'm thinking about mixing a little bit of tobacco in with it but I dont like the idea of holding in tobacco smoke....plus I find it much harder to hold in tobacco smoke, even a little bit....its way harsher and nastier.


So...any tips?

Uhh... definatly adding tobacco would help but you obviously dont want to do that. Get another persons opinion on this but you could always moisten to bud before you break up the bud. Do this by puttin a piece of bud in a closed glass jar with a orange peel. but dont leave it in anymore then like... 30-45 mins otherwise it might mold. Least thats how ive been told to do it. I would think moistening it a bit would make it burn slower.

Yeah, thats probably a good idea. I think I'll use lemon instead though since I just happen to have a piece of cut lemon here right beside me, it should work the same. I better get on it now, I dont have much time.

just make sure its just the peel and not the actual fruit.

Whys that? I was just gonna put half a lemon in.

the fruit itself is gonna have much mor emoisture than the peel. dont want too much moisture otherwise it may mold, like i said.

I personally find that hand rolled burn the slowest. Also the type of papers you use will determine if it burns slow or not. You should buy some slow burning zig-zags and hand roll it. Also the tighter you roll it the longer it will burn. But you can't roll it too tight or it will be hard as hell to hit.

coat a layer of honey on the cigarettes man, it will burn much slower and hit fat

that can help as well, just don't overdo it or you get a nasty mess of a joint.

I dont have zigzags or honey, all I will have is a single virginia slim 120 which I plan to gut. If I lick it before I smoke it, will it burn slower? I wont smoke it wet, I'll lick it and then dry it a bit with my lighter.

yes....put a think even layer, then run over it with a lighter for a second before you bake....also dont but honey where your going to hold the joint, causr then u fingers get really stickey

Are you talking about the paper burning too fast, or the weed? I usually roll my joints with some tobaccy like the europeans do, and the paper would end up burning faster than the weed until i learned how to wrap it tighter. The small amount of tobacco won't hurt you. In fact, tobacco contains a good deal less carcinogens per gram than cannabis does. Just use pure tobacco, not tobacco from a cigarette with additives in it.

Big waste of weed that was, but damn, I'm blown. I haven't smoked for a week so my tolerance is low...haven't been this high in a while

use a TINY bit of baccy

emphasis on the TINY

even a little bit will do good,i only put a tiny bit of cig in my spliffs...
