Orange Peeling works great!

Sup all. A few weeks ago I got hooked up with a half an 1/8th of chronic and since I blaze about 3-5 times a week in small quanities, my weed lasts awhile. Latley I noticed the weed getting kinda dry, so I decided to try the orange peeling that I read so much about on the forums.

Let me tell you it works great, I found that there are many benefits to adding orange peel to moisturize your supply...

1. Nice smell, hint of orange for taste.
2. Weed is easier to manage, stays fresher.
3. No cheeries! There is no smoke wasted between hits.

I've only had the peels in for about 24-48 hours, so I'd like to know when its time to replace them before they get moldy?

The reason your skunk loses potency when it gets old is because the THC crystals have broken down/fallen off/gone mouldy. Properly dried bud should be exactly that - dry - and it shouldn't go mouldy. But if you break the buds up and expose them to the open air then the THC crystals slowly disappear. Getting it damp by pissing about with orange peel will not help things at all!

An eighth should last you a week though, if you don't smoke it all in one night!

Oh, if you like the taste of orange, buy some flavoured rolling tobacco. It's really quite tasty, probably really bad for you though

Humph. I never noticed that it hurt the buzz any.

But you really shouldn't just keep a piece of orange peel in there either. That's just asking for mold to start chowin' on it.

Just put a piece in it until the weed's moist, then take it out.

If it gets dry again you can plop another peel in there.

If you wanted to get real fancy you could have a little "batters box" where you keep a little bit for the day's smoking or what ever. Then rotate the next day's stash into the "humidor" (bag with orange peel in it) and it's ready the next day.

The mositure keeps the crystals from "falling off" so the weed stays dense. I don't see anything bad about adding orange peel, as long as you don't let it grow mold its all good. Wow an 1/8th of chronic a week? That would be a very expensive habit.

And 1/8 a week isn't very much, is it? That's like 3 joints. I know people who smoke a quarter a day. But I guess that's a lot because weed's so cheap here compared to other places in the great US of A...

Here's my experience with the peeling. I opened up a big jar last night that had 1/4 of an orange peel inside. the peel had been in there for 3 weeks without opening the jar. All the bud was moist and sticky and just right. I had forgot that the peel was in there and when I smelled orange I said Uh-Oh this shit is going to be mouldy. No such thing though. It was a pleasure grinding it up and rolling some up. And when I hit it tonight I'm sure it will have a nice fruity odor.

Next time I'm going to try lemons and limes and see if it works the same.

1/8 lasts me a week plus my frenz smoke me up sometimes.. so yea 20 bux an 1/8... that had nothing to do with this but okay hee hee

3 joints? if i rolled joints it would prolly only be 1 joint. i smoke out of bongs, and smoke blunts. and my blunts are usually a little less than a 1/4. if i want to conserve i smoke out my bong.

theres no way u could fit a 1/4 (thats 7 grams)into a blunt, and even if u did it would be too tightly packed to breath through and the paper would burn faster than the weed (in other words u would have too much cherry) an 1/8 is enuff for 1.5-2 blunt...maybe thats wut your thinkin of...

I've saw 8 grams put in a blunt before, it burned just fine. It burned for about an hour too.

I've rolled a 7g coner, and boy did it put the stoney on ya! The weed must be very dry so that you can actually inhale the smoke through the weed. This was a Northern Lights joint, but the cost was lessened as many people pitched in. This is the way to go if you want a joint that'll get a party of people wasted
