sick from smoking bongs

It happened again. Same bong, and some pretty good nugs. After about two bongs, I got really white (ghost white), got really dizzy, kind of like a really bad case of the spins, and every time I talked, i felt like i was going to throw up. I ended up booting twice, and felt like complete shit until i fell asleep. I was over the toilet for at least an hour; shitty times. I know it wasn't the buds, cuz my friends where fine. Is there any way to stop this from happening?

happens to me if i smoke to much, but i know exactly wat u mean, like your real high n its awesome then it gets to the point where ur too high and cant keep your eyes open cuz of the spins and you cant keep em closed cuz your whole body feels like its spinning. it sucks and happens to me about once a month or so, i dont mind as long as i can go with the flow and not try to hide that i'm high from anyone...

I hate when that shit happens. Doesn't happen to me any more, cause I know when to stop smoking. But first time I ever smoked a bong we smoked like, 3 bowls, then rolled a fatty joint, then threw the roach in the bong, then smoked one more bowl. This was 2002, the day before Christmas Eve. Both my friend and I were all fine and stoned for a little bit, but then it all went bad. I started blacking out on this guy's floor and waking up every 10-15 minutes. My friend did the same thing you did, he was in the bathroom for an hour and half straight, not puking, but almost puking. We were both very pail and white, and felt like shit.

I know this might be hard to believe, but for 4 days straight after that night I would wake up and feel fine, then an hour or two after waking up I'd feel very buzzed, like I'd just smoked a bowl. I was scared shitless, cause I thought I did permanent nerve damage er somethin.....

Just learn when to stop smoking. It's fun getting high, then getting higher, then getting even more high, but it's not fun to smoke yourself sick. Just learn your boundaries and stick to 'em, and it probably won't happen again....

Man, I know how that feels but I only feel like that after pulling a all nighter and then smoke some of the J.

P.S. After some post observation I say man way too much, man that sucks.

Yeah dude, like everybody else here has said, just learn your limits. I know thats kind of hard since you're all high and crap and tryin to think when you've reached your limit. It just takes a little time and some hard lessons.

But, I think what you described has happened to the best of us.

Happens to me way too often. I'm learning to smoke a little, see how I feel in 1/2 an hour and smoke more accordingly. I had the exact same experience about 6 days ago from a G-Bong and I just smoked today for the fist time since and it was damn good. im fucking stoned

I find it only happens to NoOb smokers ( new smokers) when they smoke too much. The same thing used to happen to me. It happened twice. It happend 4 or 5 months or so ago when i was taking knife hits off some hash. I was wrecked and just chilin out and then i started to feel like that. SO i layed down in a cold place untill it passed.

yeah, when you're feeling like that its generally a good idea to go outside to get some cool air on you and it usually makes you feel a lot better.

I've been smokin for 3 years and taht shit still happens. I dont know what you're talkin about.

There's a good chance (75% in my opinion) that you guys are simply holding in your hits so long that your body isn't getting enough oxygen, seriously, keep it in for 5-10 secs at most and it might stop happening. That's only happened to me once and it was when I used to hold in my tokes as long as possible to get a 'better high'. I realized after a while that I wasn't absorbing more thc but just making myself dizzy from a lack of oxygen.

I have witnessed it several times, all of which was from a diabetic. It does fuck with your blood sugar levels, so it might just drop it for some people. Try drinking a coke or something if it happens again.

whoever doesn't have winamp5, get it now. then go and buy two monitors, have grasscity open on one, and have winamp's visuals on fullscreen on the other. *orgasm* it's great.

It's called pulling a whitey. I think it happens because of a
sudden drop in blood pressure.

Pot dilates the blood vessels, and your blood pressure can
drop quickly. That's why your heart goes into overdrive. It's
gotta pump like twice as hard to get the blood through the
veins and stuff.

i've pulled a whitey a couple times before. It's usually when smoking with friends who have really high tolerances. My tolerance never really built up very high so I'll be smoking with them and they keep passing around more and more and I don't really wanna pass on it so I keep smoking. Eventually it hits me and I can barely even talk. Next time you have a bong and some good nugs just take one rip and wait a few minutes then maybe take another smaller rip.
