Buying Pipes, Bongs, etc online

Is it safe to buy things like pipes and bongs online or am i just asking for trouble? Im looking for a nice spoon / metal pipe that would be good for someone who has never owned one. I just started smoking about 4 months ago and im hooked, but usually smoke blunts and want to try a pipe. So do you have any recommendations? Is buying stuff like this online stupid? Last thing i want to do is have cops knocking on my door with my package in their hand. I live in the U.S. by the way.

I dont think the cops should be much of a problem.

And if i were you id look for a nice color changing piece.

Cops won't get you in trouble, they target the source. Get a color changing glass spoon if you want something nice and simple. Good luck in finding one, I recommend the store here at grasscity.

Before you smoke out of it, all of that shit is 100% legal. Once you smoke out of it, it becomes illegal. Or if they can otherwise PROVE that you were going to use it for pot, like if they catch you with a baggie of pot with an unused bong in your hand. But seriously, don't worry about it.

It's illegal if they market it as intended for marijuana use. That's why so many headshops say "for tobacco use only."

Yeah buyin a pipe online isnt going to get you into any trouble with authorities. The only thing I worry about is gettin scammed.

I forgot to tell you, it's a good idea to find a local headshop so you can pick out your pieces in person, so you can check it out yourself and hold it, see how it fits, etc. I bought my spoon online, and it's perfect, I love it. Just a thought...peace

I don't know any in NJ, you might ask around, or google it. By all means, if you find one online that you like though, go for it.

I'd say the only benefit from buying online is better prices. Around here, head shops WAY over charge. But luckily, I happened to meet the dude who blows for the big shop around here and he will sell directly for litteratly 1/2 the price of the shop. He carrys them around in a big briefcase its badass. Also, you get to see them in person like Unreal said. good luck

Well in this day and age im so used to buying most of what i want online..its usually cheaper, just all around easier. I live in GA and have been trying to find headshops around where i live. Unfortunately the headshops i found are in downtown atlanta or close to it and its just a bitch to drive down there. I planned on buying from the grasscity store. What should i look for in a spoon or metal pipe? Im also thinking of getting a bong, what should i look for in one? Anyone have a list of good, reliable pipe, bong, etc sellers? Im new here and new to new to a lot of things in terms of mariguana, i think here i will learn a lot. Thanks all for your help.

I bought my ccg bat online.

I really like, it's definately quality.

However, I was a tid bit dissapointed because the colors on the pipe weren't quite as bright as the colors in the online pic.
And yes, I had been smoking out of for over 3 months all the time, so the glass had pretty much fully changed its color.
