| So these days I'm becoming more health conscious and I'm curious to know if filtering the smoke through water actually cleans the smoke ( i know it cools it).I did some research online and couldn't find any solid evidence supporting this theory (every site said something like " It is conceivable that some of the water soluble smoke ingredients remain in the water. The contaminant measurements available up to now for the smoke of water pipes tend rather to indicate that the filter function of water is over-estimated." ) I think it takes out some harmful substances because the water gets "dirty" Any help would be appreciated and i know that a vape or edibles is the way to go but some times you just gotta light up

yeah it filters in gets rid of majority of the bad shit. Wouldnt be too worried about your health lung-wise anyways unless u smoke like 10 doobies a day cos the damage is done in the brain anyways believe me. Jus buy a nice size bong man and get it ripping. Good luck.

a water filter may remove some tar and heavy particulates, but if you are truly health conscious, stop smoking and vaporize. Vaporization= no smoke, no tar, no polyaromatic hydrocarbons, etc. it is truly the healthiest way to inhale cannabis and it smells great!

Vaping yields you 95% THC and cannabinoids while smoke only yields about 12% and the rest is garbage. Just look. “The new study used a gas chromatograph mass spectrometer (GCMS) to examine the gas components of the vapor. .The analysis showed that the Volcano® vapor was remarkably clean, consisting 95% of THC with traces of cannabinol (CBN), another cannabinoid. The remaining 5% consisted of small amounts of three other components: one suspected cannabinoid relative, one suspected PAH, and caryophyllene, a fragrant oil in cannabis and other plants. In contrast over 111 different components appeared in the gas of the combusted smoke, including a half dozen known PAHs. Non-cannabinoids accounted for as much as 88% of the total gas content of the smoke.” Source: http://www.canorml.org/healthfacts/vaporizerstudy2.html |

If you dont have the money to buy a propper vapr also u can buy a handheld one which looks like a lightbulb but with a toking tube and thicker glass with a rubber stopper which comes off. Just hold a lighter to it snd it vapes the weed and also makes it last MUCH longer. Peace.

Yea im with the post above. I have a lot of friends that are in ivy league schools (hopefully me soon) and they smoke pot all the time. But i also know a few people that drool when i ask them how theve been. I would like to see a non-biased report on neuron damage due to cannabis smoking. A non-biased is me dreaming, id rather see one from an intelligent pot head than a 80 year old government official who thinks refermaddness had a liberal agenda.

There is NO brain damage associated with weed. at all. Do you feel cool cause you think you're damaging your health? go try meth, it will make you waaaay cooler than weed will. Yes, the water does some filtering and a lot of cooling. | |
