Bad lighter?

Ok, I was hanging out at a friend’s house and pulled out my new lighter. A few of the friends said that this type of lighter was bad because of 'the butane going to your lounges'? Its one of those cool windproof mini torches. Has anyone heard anything detrimental about them?. Generally I smoke through a glass pipe or bong if it matters. So is it bad?

Generally I don’t cough when I’m smoking and not the morning after. Or at least I try not to. But maybe its just a weird concern 'Smoking a fat bowl' worried a bought the lighter? Oh well

The only problem I have with those kind of lighters is that they burn my throat, but if your not a pussy and you don't mind the burn, then have at it. *LOL*.

They run out of fuel too quick are pain in the ass to refill.

What BPP said about how hard they are to refill is true, and also I've found that I burn my friggin finger on them when I'm supastoned..
Also I don't know if I'm picky, but it seems to burn more weed than your average lighter - or burns the weed faster. I don't like 'em much, but that's a personal preference, nothing to do with any GAS in the lighter fluid..

Besides ~ all lighters have some sort of chemical in them so I wouldn't be too worried

I freagin love butane lighters. perfect for supa sticky, slightly wet dank.

but if your torchin your mids, i hope you bought a shit ton. those bowls cash fast.

If you use them properly they are ok. Don't torch your bud with it but hold the flame above the bowl and let the heat reach your bud.
