Custom Ice for Bongs

now everyone be fair
i was high when i came up with this idea
I took a water bottle and filled it up with water completely... then i inserted metal rods into the bottle and stuck it in the freezer... afterwards i cut the bottle off and had a block of cylindrical ice. After removing the rods there were holes passing all the way through the ice. I ran the ice block under water to shrink it to fit my bong. Then once i smoked it... the smoke went through the ice block. I thought this was a good idea because if there is a relatively narrow passage for smoke to pass through the ice, then the smoke should become colder right? well its hard to compare which is colder =\

HERE IS THE OVERALL COMPLETED IDEA: CREATING A CYLINDER CONTAINER CAPABLE OF STORING WATER BUT ALSO WITH THE CAPABILITY TO BE PULLED APART INTO 2 HALVES TO RELEASE THE ICE CHUNK. AND THROUGH THE MIDDLE OF THE CONTAINER, THERE WOULD BE MULTIPLE SPIRALING RODS TO CREATE FUNKY TWISTS THROUGHOUT THE ICE.

so what do u all think? and like i mentioned earlier.. go easy on me.. i was high.. but my last post had a crazy idea/question in it that people seemed to think was cool. The idea was having a bong that has a knot in the glass neck... thus making it more fun to watch the smoke run through all the twists

I was thinking about the same shit like two days ago! Fuckin genius with poles idea, cause i was trying to figure the hole part out. Im gonna try this shit tonite.

i think that would look pretty awsome. especially if you used like green food coloring.idk if it would actually cool the smoke down as much though

This is actually a good idea. But you def need to make a tube that fits your bong so that you can just slide it in. The smoke should come out really cold which is nice. + rep

moo moo i understand ur comparison but those 2 links arent exactly what im talking about.. then second pic is close but it lacks creativity... who the hell would buy that? and christian999... I ALSO THOUGHT OF THE FOOD COLORING IDEA lol! weird.. but yea.. like if i could get it so that u can see the white traveling thru the ice... SICK! lol

awesome idea with the rods!
you could make an ice tray...
mold a few cube shapes out of parrafin wax, and get one of those latex mixes (both are at hobby lobby) and melt the wax out with a hiardryer or something once the latex cures.

Thats a sick ass idea...

They sell these metal foot long tubes at 7-11 for the slurpee, pretty good sized hole... Go for about a buck... Seems sleek, so you could freeze the tube do the whole process and just slide the tube out, maybe run hot water through the tube for it to be easier...

but yea my main concern would be the spiral rods... like.. how could u freeze water around twisted rods and pull them out somehow?

lol like.. with str8 rods u can have like 2 inches of the rods sticking out so that u can just turn it over and slam it on a table to force the rods completely thru or loose but spiral.... that would be a challenge.. and as far as food coloring goes.. good idea or bad.. what color? would it melt onto the bong and stain it or something?

ive tried something similar.. the problem with straws is that its hollow... once water gets in and freezes u cant get the straw out.. thanks for the advice tho... any more ideas let me know

Do you think greasing the poles with margarine would make them easier to slide out? It's not like the margarine would mix with the water.

That is a good idea...

What if you tried freezing gatorade or some other drink with the rods? Would it make the smoke fruity?
