I'm going to try smoking tonight for the FIRST TIME! Does anyone have any advice for me since I'm a pot virgin?

I love this site, and you guys give awesome advice, so I'll be eager to learn from you!!

good, luck....don't over do it.....and get some munchies in...in advance, so as you don't need to go out later for them..............chips, chocolate, and sweets.....etc.....and phone in pizza........lol........Peace out.........Sid

ps have some juice at hand as well to avoid really bad kottonmouth......lol

make sure you have some trustworthy friends around to chill wit ya. munchies are always a key in any session, so do like Sid said and make a stop to the grocery store before ya toke up. oh, and if you dont have good water to drink at your house, buy some bottled water, you dont want to get stuck with mad cottons, that is a real high downer.

other than that have fun, listen to some marley, and watch a sweet movie!

For the first time i'd smoke with another (rookie)to feel the high with, makes it that much better.

Chill with some good music and everything will work out fine.

I don't know any other rookies, so that poses a problem! I couldn't ask for anyone better than Indy to smoke with! He'll take good care of me!

First time you smoke *don't* smoke too much right away. If you don't know what to expect it ruinsthe experience for some people. Take a couple hits off of a bowl or take a bong rip or two and wait 15 minutes. See how it hits you and if you want some more, take a couple more tokes. You can still get very high, but take your time getting there the first time.

yea good advice. I would say take about 4 hits out of a bowl or joint, or maybe 3 bong hits. Expect to get silly as fuck! Just have a relaxing place to chill with food and drink a plenty.

I KNEW I could count on the great people of the City to give me some solid advice; I really appreciate you guys! I've heard that some people don't feel anything the first couple of times they smoke.... is this a common occurance?

Took me 6 times to get high, but i have friends who have gotten smacked their first time. Depends on the person i guess.

Whats with this "dont get too high" shit... smoke everything you can get your hands on, you'll never be able to get that high again! haha... The first time i smoked was with my sisters boy friend, and this dude thats living in the attic of my dads house (yeah that sounds weird to me too). They were both real stoners and they were like "hey lets kid the little kid high tonight!". I was 14 at the time. We passed around a blunt that i got about 10 hits off of. I didnt know if i was still awake i was so blasted, then i was about to wander downstairs and they stopped me and we lit up with a huge bowl. I was so happy, wasnt sick at all, just felt like everything was.. i dunno, but it was crazy! I've never been that high since... enjoy !
