Grinding / Breaking up your weed in advance

I was just curious how many of you grind up your weed as soon as you get it, or do you prefer to wait until just before you begin smoking? I prefer to do it in advance. Would this affect the quality / potency of the weed at all?

i like having actualy nugs. its tempting to break it up before, but it makes it that much better right before you smoke. plus, a whole baggie of shake looks awful

I like to keep mine in nug form up until i smoke it.

Sometimes if im going out just to smoke doobs, i'll pre-grind and put it in a pill bottle w/ moisture puck, stick a few papers in there
its faster, easier, and you dont have to lug your grinder around
would not recommend for anything you will not be smoking in the next few days.

besides, nugs are nice to have.. i like looking at trich coverage, bag appeal, the explosion of smell when you bust one open. its all part of the smoking experience

i usually break up my nugs up right before i smoke, i think it looks way more beautiful when its in nug form

I'll break up a nug in my grinder and leave it there. But I don't break up all my weed at once

If your going to smoke the herb then it makes it dryer and thus the smoke is harsher, but for the vape I'll grind up my herb and put it in the tray I use to hold it before it goes in the vape and it'll sit their for 24 hours sometimes and I do not notice an affect on quality as far as vaping goes. But it doesn't get grinded up all at once when I get it because that would be a tedious task in itself.

i usually always grind all of it when i get it just for convenience (i don't personally have a grinder)

I grind for sure... it doesn't look as pretty but you can save a lot of weed compared to packing nugs into bowls. Also I like J's so yeah

weigh out how much i can smoke that day
grind it up
then just through out the day keep taking some out

I dont see how it saves weed, its still the same amount, if anything you could fit more grinded weed in a bowl then if it were just broken up.

Personally, i like to store nugs in a glass jar, and break it up as needed.

i feel like budds say fresher in nug form and a freshly ground nugg just smells amazing. i want to smell that ever bowl not just every bag

Nugs can be salvaged if dropped, while ground up bud might not.

ground up right away will lose the mositure really fast, and are not good for big holed bowls <-- weird thing to sayy.

i love ground weed, but trust me, just grind it up freshly
