puff puff pass, too tight ass?

this has to be my most disputed etiquette rule ever... nearly every where i have smoked this rule is not acknowleged for many reasons. Having to be constantly moving joints around is a mood killer in the middle of a big sesh. People get high at differant rates. You'd never get that high from only 2 tokes a time.

I think this must be a rule that varies geographically as in all areas of Scotland i have had the pleasure of smoking in do not follow this rule. The way i make sure i dont joint hog is simply working out (before i toke) how much I should take for an equal share and it still get back round to who ever skinned it up. (obviously this don't work if you're in a large croud).

Are there any other Blades from Scotland here? what r the joint hog rules you've seen? Any Blades experienced tokers multi-nationally? Do Rastas and other cana-religious tokers stick to that rule??? Is this tiny issue bugging me too much? Am I asking too many questions? Would Howard Marks laugh his ass of @ "puff, puff, pass"? Did Ringo Star f*** up the rotation first time he smoked a spliff? (heehee) Am I done?....

the only rule i've ever followed is take a hit and have it exhaled before the joint comes back to you.. that's about it...

None of these are done so why is it required to pass a joint.

Come to my house and there won't be no passing of joints around. Everybody will have plenty for themselves and there will be no need to pass.

plenty here too. but we pass....tho on the occasion someone my husband brings home looks like a crack head im out hhm, so i guess im saying hygene counts!. bigtime! and also if you even LOOK like youve got the flu OUT...hhm if you put the whole joint in your mouth OUT. wtf am i smoking with other people for....lol poppa i spose yuo might be onto somthing also
