smoke out of glass or metal?

Is there anyone out there like me that refuses to smoke out of metal pipes cause they taste like shit?

Got a deer antler that an old hippee made for me once upon a time, seems to have taken on a peculiar taste here lately though, must be ruttin season.

You should still keep your metal piece incase of an emergency but once I smoke out of my first glass piece i haven't looked back. I will be at a party and turn down smoking because it is in a metal piece. I am sorry people can call me snobby, but I believe that not only you should smoke for the feeling but also to smoke for the wonderfull taste and look of a great kind bud!!!!

Yeah metals are shite!!! What do you people think of woods tho... tried a glass but kept thinking "oh shit be careful. If you fall over this thing'll smash in your face!!!." Prefer the taste of wood too!

I have made some wood pipes i love them. I have made a wood sherlock and a wood bubbler. I think its better than glass because if you use the right wood you get awesome flavors.

Metal is ok if you are in a bind. Everybody should have at least one tiny metal piece for the car or something. I work at panera bread, and every day we smoke out of a different food product. Yesterday was the lemon poppyseed scone.

That is exactly the type of pipe i've been looking for... auto filling... hey i could even attatch it to a bong using the right connector... aaaaaaaaargh! Why do i always discover these things when i'm skint ... oh yeah... I'm always skint.

The picture confused me a bit though... where do u hold the flame on it? is it that litle brown circle on the end of the top half? ok ok ... wait ... now i've confused myself even more. im going to stop asking questions that will only help confuse me more.

i love my the glass...i remember, it was last yer in like august when i got my first glass peice....and ever since then, i dread metal, wood, ceramic, any thing. Glass is the best....espiecally for some good sweet dank buds...o yeah!

But i got me a color changing glass bong from the 60's that my aunt used.....its from amsterdam...she was born in germany, moved to amsterdam and got married at 14, and bought the pipe when she was 14 and smoked out of it till she was 43 and quit...she takes an occsional hit every now and agin.

The first time I embraced the beauty I used a glass piece (your average spoon) and haven't looked back. I own a handmade metal pinch-hitter made from an old arrow but strictly for sentimental reasons (*smile* old family piece).
I've seen the havoc that metal pipes and pichers can do to your lips... plus they do taste like shit and I'm in it for the entire experience.

I have a collection that includes all your major materials, I'll use glass before anything else, 'cept for soft-glass... don't know why but I've never liked it. Acrylics bother me, wood's okay depending on the type of wood used for the piece and I only use my wood pieces for my primest buds because I'd hate to ruin the residual flavor with anything short of god-like. lol.

i like my proto pipe and it's made of brass but i like my stone pipe the best i think i just really like it i've tried glass and wood and i dont mind them either but stone is my favorite

I absolutely refuse to smoke out of metal unless I'm in a bind. The one exception to that "rule" is my trusty one-hitter. I just haven't been able to trust a glass baton, sometimes I really have to dig and scrape the inside chamber of the dugout and I'd be too afraid I'd break the glass.

I'd reconsider using a metal pipe if I could find one those "Celebration" series pipes. The inside of the bowl is 24k gold and it's supposed to provide a clean smoking experience.

I think my main problem involving metal and weed are the screens. Those brass screens are releasing tons of toxins when you smoke out of them, not to mention what toxins the metal bowl itself is releasing.

I'd prefer to keep the toxins to a minimum, only carcinogens from the smoke itself please.

I have bad luck with glass pipes they alway seem to disapear.
The problem is everyone loves glass and everyone I smoke with is scandalous, so lets just say alot of glass pipes get "misplaced". After going through about four pipes I just gave up, so now either hit out of my acrilic bong or take knife hits.

ps: i'm trying to get my hands on a pretty sweet glass bong my friend just got. It hits like a champ.
