Anyone else hate being called a pothead?

Any word used negatively is gonna irk me. Depends who's saying it and in what context whether or not I feel insulted. Either way, screw them because nine times out of ten they have absolutely no idea what they are talking about.

I'm always very chilled and I've stated things not much diff than most the folks in this thread so why do you feel the need to try and belittle me? I've been called a pothead by non-smokers plenty of times and I only smoke about a gram of dank bud a month on average. Heavy smokers have gone as far as saying "you don't even smoke" so its all based on perspective. We label what is different from our own little world because we don't understand it and thus assume its bad.

Some people choose to smoke a lot, some choose to smoke a moderate amount, some just smoke a little, some try it a time or two and some choose not to ever try. Who cares about a persons intake of an herb except immature narrow minded people like the government and people with ulterior motives like drug companies who would rather keep making big bucks off their companies brand of prescription speed for ADD kids.

it makes me mad.. because when i think of a pot head.. i think of a lazy bum whose always on couch lock and puts weed as a number 1 priority.. like the ones in the "live above the influence" commercial... and thats not me.. so i hate when people call me that.. i smoke alot.. but im no pothead.. im a frequent responsible smoker.

All the time, mostly by non- smokers. Its a combination of factors that trigger these foolish remarks, for one it's IGNORANCE, and the other is the common misconception that false propaganda has created.

It does bother me alot though, I just try not to pay attention to it.

If you don't like it when your friends call people pot heads why not just tell them. Let them know you smoke and tell them to look at how good you got your shit together. If they are really your friends they won't care that you smoke, and will hang out with you regardless.

i usually only get called a pothead by non smokers who know i smoke (a lot?) and like beginnin smokers. its all kool to me cuz im just chill about it and as long as they dont try to put me on blast at the wrong moments (whatever that might be) then everythings all good to me, u know? but with a few smokers i met this past school year we had like ranks. pretty much like beginner, intermediate, pothead, and pro. it was kinna unspoken tho but you get the idea. it was kinna funny to me cuz most of the ppl that everyone would consider pro where from cville, VA. there were very few anyone would say were on pothead level from anywhere else. regardless like i said as long as no ones tryna blow up my shit about it its all good.

btw im pretty high so sorry if shit sounds fuckin retarded.
