Bamboo Bong Questions

I'm looking to purchase a new bong. I was wanting something unique and the bamboo bongs really caught my eye. Specifically the following:

I would prefer the first one. Although the bowl looks too small, and the comments saying you can only get 2-3 hits out of it. Does anyone own this or have used it and know if i could replace the bowl with a bigger glass bowl? Also, I hear the hits taste really good. Do they get you just as high/gives just a big hits as a regular bong?
