so here's what you do

take a blunt that's short or about to become a roach and stick it in the hole where your bowl goes on a bong

light it

proceed to enter a whole new fucking level of chill like i am at right now

Used to do it, and still do from time to time, it's nice... you get like the high from a blunt/joint where its longer lasting a bit, with the headrush of a bong, and its cooled smoke.

just put it in the bowl. that way you still can pull it out and clear it. it rips you a whole new one though. i love it.

Lemme dig up some pics of it for ya guys. When the slide broke on my old bong, I turned it around and used just the tube part of the slide to hold the joint/blunt in and it was perfect... pics... and yea... I had already tested the "blong" method before the pics as you can tell hehe.

Broken Slide (I flipped it around so I had a good end to stick the blunt/joint in)

Bong w/ Slide

I had some of those Cyclone blunts. They are already rolled up cone-shaped blunts and you just pack em. They're kinda harsh, but with the "blong" it was no problem, and the cone couldn't have fit more perfectly... If I still had the downstem/rubber grommet for that bong (I have the chamber) I could do it, I believe I still have that broken slider that fits perfectly for it.

Ugh, I went from making my youtube milk vids, which I was enjoying a lot, (Click the "I Get Bored" Link in my sig if you want) to smokin Js and bubblers, which don't get me wrong, I absolutely love them both... but just the act of hitting a bong... I just love bongs, and I miss hitting mine so so dearly, and not that I haven't had variety, I've smoked my bubbler, plenty of Js, and quite a few different dry pieces from heady hammers to simple spoons, but I freakin miss my bong!

If I don't have my screen in my bubbler sometimes I'll stick the J in there, but what I actually always do now with my roaches, is stick them into the end of my one hitter (I use those cigarette-look-alike ones) and keep puffin on em, it acts as a perfect reusable filter and you smoke every last bit of the J.

That blunt in the bong that I posted pics of above was insane, the thick smoke from the bong hits, and they were HUGE hits because it's a bong (if you watch like my latest youtube vid, you'll see I have a lot of lung power) and just take it to the head lol. That chamber is bigger than it looks, always provides awesome hits. I would always try and do a whole blunt in one hit... lol no way, but what you do is inhale VERY slowly so the smoke comes up slow (so you inhale as little as possible), and just keep doing it VERY slowly so to put it simply you get the entire blunt in the chamber, minus what you exhale out your nose pulling all the smoke through. It absolutely destroys you.

We do this all the time. We have smoked whole blunts this way. I have the Roor Spliff adapter, an 18.8mm glass on glass bowl piece that perfectly holds joints/blunts/spliffs etc. ... I will post a video soon!

Don't have a glass bong myself, but I often do this with a waterbottle. I just use like a gatorade 16.9 oz bottle, put a pen tube in as the downstem, fill with about an inch of water, and insert the short blunt into the tube. It works great and gets you really high.
